We drove over 170 miles just see him again- This was our 5th concert of his over the last 5 years and I must say he never dissapoints! He is such fantastic musician- He knows how to keep the crowd entertained! He's very funny & down to earth! Loved the meet & greet after the show- the band members are just as wonderful! If you ever get the chance to see him- I promise you won't be dissapointed!
Amazing show!!! all acts were amazing!!! I WANNA SEE THEM AGAIN...AND AGAIN!!!
Not only was Ryan great, but so were the bands that opened for him. Also, there was a lot of audience interaction with Ryan. He was very personal with us. Loved it!
Great Show...I would definitely see him again. He played some of his new songs also! Only downside was the 3 preshow openers took up 2.5 hours before Ryan came out. It was at HOB Anaheim and there aren't very many seats, so I stood for 4.5 hours total.
Great concert am looking for another concert to go to at the house of blues.
was a great show...he's funny, tells stories and has an amazing voice...fab guitar player too...would see him again..one thing though..the ticketmaster picture you use..ick...get a different one..he is way hotter in person...
Ryan's show was great. He sang all his hits. I would totally see him again.
This show was amazing! One of my best ever. I went only for Clayton Senne and found several new bands that I loved. Finally when Ryan Cabrera came on the show was rocking! He puts on a great show and tops off the whole night with his awesome voice! The venue was small but not packed at all, it was so comfortable and intimate. I definitely recommend this show and this venue!
After at least a three year period of not seeing Ryan in concert, I was worried about if I would still like him as much as I did. But from the moment he stepped on stage, it was flawless... even with his mishaps! Ryan did an acoustic set covering new material and his ever famous songs. His audience interactions were highlights of the show and he brought the same energy and heartfelt performance with which I originally fell in love with. He captivated his audience from beginning to end. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ANY RYAN CABRERA CONCERT. He is one of the most down to earth humans I have ever met and sincerely passionate about his music. He is a breathe of fresh air and an over all amazing performer.
We have seen about 8 of his concerts -- although this one was enjoyable -- his voice and memory certainly seemed off -- it might have had something to do with the amount of alcohol he seemed to be consuming
Overall the night was pretty cool. I have never been to the Troubador all the years I lived here in L.A. I'm glad I did because the theater is small enough to actually see and artist up close and get more into the music. If your not into standing the whole time during a show, there are also seats available on the top balcony. There are also two bars. One in the back of the theater so you don't miss a thing of the show or one by the door in a smaller room where others can conversate. Most of I loved seeing Ryan Cabrera perform. Before some songs he would tell the story behind it giving the song more meaning once he played it. He also threw some jokes and had a beer with all of us. It was very worth to see the show. Even if your not such a big fan of Ryan Cabrera, I think its always good to see a show once in while at the Troubador...... just don't bring gum or sharpies cuz they make you throw them away at the door.... I guess cuz someone can terrorize the place with them...go figure?
Let me first start out by saying i am a BIG Ryan Cabrera fan. However, I was COMPLETELY dissapointed by the concert I attended. First off, he had three opening bands who each took about a 40-60 minute set. All 3 bands were playing their guitars acoustically so after about three hours of waiting, you get tired of hearing the guitar. Heck, you get tired after an hour and a half. Ryan comes out after (three hours after concert started) and of course, more acoustic guitar. Once again, i do not have a problem with acoustic guitar, i love it, but it's annoying hearing it back to back. Overall he had a poor selection of song choices (he did songs from his second album, his worst album in my opinion) and not enough songs from his third album, best album in my opinion. He was on stage for about an hour and twenty minutes and then left.
I thought the show was great. Ryan Cabrera is a lovely artist to me, he's got so much talent and energy!! I thought the concert seemed very small and intimate and i love that feeling!! I had some drinks there too which were good! The only little annoying thing was that they had way too many opening acts... Ryan only came on stage 4 hours later they let us in the venue so that was a lil tiring! But overall great concert and great place :)
The concert was a great mix of music and artists. Every act had its own identity and stage presence which was enjoyable. It was really intimate and felt like hanging out with friends and awesome music.
To be honest, I was a bit disappointed in Ryan Cabrera's performance at the concert. At first he let members of the audience suggest songs for him to sing, but it was obvious that he didn't have a set list nor was fully prepared. I feel that he performed the best when The Kin, the group touring with him, also came on stage to accompany him in a few songs. Cabrera chit-chatted with the audience, but lacked energy. The opening acts, on the other hand, were great. The Kin & Zach Comtois were my favorite two of the three that performed. Comtois was sensitive and honest guy, but passionate about his music and interactive with the audience. The Kin sounded fantastic, and also interacted well with the crowd. I would recommend checking out both!
Most unforgettable concert i've ever been to & i've been to alot!!
Ryan Cabrera is always amazing live and he always has the best opening acts. This holds true with his performance at the Red Room. The Kin, Michele and Zach were three amazing opening acts and all four of them had a great amount of energy with the crowd. I would absolutely recommend anyone to see any of these artists. Also, with his setlist there's probably a lot more he did. His sets always are at least an hour long so I don't remember them all!
I'm not a huge Ryan Cabrera fan but I really enjoyed the concert.
Every single one of the opening acts were absolutely amazinggg. And Ryan--PFFT!! Best Show EVER!!!!!!!!!! :D It didn't hurt that i got to meet the members of The Kin AND Ryan Cabrera too!!! They're all amazing guys!!! Absolutely awesomeee performers. If you get a chance to go to a show with Ryan, The Kin, Zach, OR Michele, i recommend you do it. AMAZINGGGG.
