Loved watching Rupi Kaur at the Lincoln Theater. She is funny, heartwarming and inspirational. Seeing her show brings her poetry to life, and I would gladly go to another one of her shows anytime! Highly recommend.
This was my first performance of spoken poetry and Rupi did not disappoint. She was incredibly engaging and her work was fantastic. I would highly recommend seeing Rupi live and if not, reading her works. She is an amazing artist.
I took my teenage son with me. He was the one who introduced me to her poetry. The local poet that she had open for her show was also very good.
From arrival to our exit of the incredible Kings Theater we were cared for. The staff are exceptional! Charles, Kyle, the Manger of the ushers and so many others. Friendly and helpful! Thank you for making our first time at Kings fabulous! As for the performance…. LOVED IT!!! Rupi is brilliant!
Wish the venue had a screen so we could see her upclose or more speakers to hear her better
RUPI is a lonely poet. The opening acts could have been better. I didn’t follow their wording.

Seriously, how can I put how amazing this experience was, into words? Rupi is amazing. We laughed, listened, felt, laughed some more, clapped, cried..it was so so good. Food for the soul.
It’s really hard to put into words the impact that the show had on me featuring two black poet to share their experiences of being a black woman in the world, and a black man in the world had such an impact on me, and really hit me in the gut also rupee exceeded my expectations. She truly is a gift.
I loved this show. I’ve never gone to see a poetry show so didn’t know what to expect. It was funny, thought provoking and insightful. I would see her again if she came back
