Very Fun show, Great musicians and sound. Lots of energy
Dee Snider by far was the best part of the night. By the time the party was under way we had to leave to catch the train. Also the staff was overwhelmed. There were not enough bartenders and the coat check was a mess. The band was ok but the song selections were wierd. The production was great but I thought songs could've been better. I have seen other 80's bands and for all the hype Rubix Cube came up short.
This band is amazing, if you closed your eyes you would think the original artistes were on stage, these guys are true performers..... We will go next time there in town!
We had an absolute blast. The band was absolutely great. Would go to see them again in a heart beat.
The best bang for the buck I have seen in a long time. Never mind the costumes and audio/visual backdrop on the 80's, its all part of the show. The band is tight, these guys are accomplished musicians, they played everything to a T. The singers were awesome too, costume changes and constant dancing keep you going but they also had great voices. If you think 80's had nothing but crap for music this band will make you think otherwise. By the end of the show everyone, yes everyone was on the dance floor. A lot of fun, I'm hooked.
Rubix Kube gave another awesome show at Penn's Peak. We have seen them there twice now and they do not disappoint. Three hours of non-stop, trip back to the 80's. Everything from the music, slideshow and costumes takes you back to the 80's. The song list was great and the interaction with the crowd was wonderful. They really know how to entertain. We WILL be going again when they return to the Peak!!!
I love 80's music so this was the perfect night out with friends!!
This show was excellent. Not only did the musicians play incredibly well, but the way they entertained the crowd exceeded any other concert I've been to. Great band and I look forward to seeing them again.
High energy and lots of fun! I really hope they come back next year so I can see them again!
Saw Rubix Kube at the Fraze Pavilion in Kettering, OH and they were great!!! Went with friends and family ages 18-56 and we ALL thoroughtly enjoyed the show. Instead of seats down front, it was a "dance floor", they were great performers and musicians, great 80's clothes, played lots of 80's songs to bring back many memories for us old enough to have lived thru that time. They interacted with the audience a lot and despite the very hot temperature and humidity, put on a high-energy 2-hr. show. I would recommend people of any age to see their show. It was very entertaining for all ages.
This concert was soooooo fun. Had a great time with friends.
I was see them in a heartbeat again, AWESOME concert, even worth the heat to sit outside and see Rubix KUBE =)
Worst show i have ever been to EVER........ They didnt not sound even somewhat close to what the orginal sounds were. Could not wait till it was over, went with friends, or i would have been long gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All they did was jump over and act like kids.
Rubix Kube was a really good show. I am usually skeptical about tribute style bands but most of the music they performed was spot on!! with the exception of a couple of piece that the vocal range was a bit off but when you are singing someone else's music this will occur. The only negative and dissappointing issue we had were the people behind us who felt it necessary to bring their own percussion items with them and play the cow bell and tambourine along with each song from their seats. Frankly I was quite surprised that Penn's Peak would allow them to bring a bag into the concert hall to begin with. Other than that the show was "like, totally awesome!" and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a trip down memory lane to high school!
We had a great night dancing and singing to the sounds of the 80's. They played a great mix of 80's hits! If you grew up in the 80's don't miss them for a chance to relive the good old days :)
The best $20 we ever spent - what a hoot - just a fun night - from people watching - we were definitely not "dressed" for the occasion! And a gammut of music from Micheal Jackson to White Snake - to Van halen........just AWESOME music and performance. Would love to see a show of just 80's Rock!!! Everyone in our group said they would definitely see them again and again!!! 2 and a half hours of solid music.
I thought they would be a band playing songs from the 80's. They were more like a broadway show. It was a good show, just not for us.
