This circus is a must see! It kept my two year olds attention the entire time. He enjoyed his first experience so much he continues to talk about it!
The show and performers were fantastic but the intermission is way too long for little kids and too much on the constant sell up. Just charge a little more on the ticket and move it along.
Grandchildren had a great time love the equestrian show very much
It was okay. I felt like some of the acts were not circus acts. There were alot of animals (goats, cows, etc) that to me don't represent a circus... if I wanted to see farm animals I would of gone to one. Other than the tickets I felt everything was over priced which I would not of mind if the acts were entertaining. The clown was very good and funny... to me her carried the first part of the show. The cannon act and the wheel of death with the two men were entertaining. I have been going to this circus since I was a kid and want my kids to experience it as well but they have to sit down and update their acts and rethink all the farm animals (especially the cows... they didn't do anything but move back and forth). I hope when they come back next year that they are way better than they were this year
I haven't been to a circus in a long time but was glad i went. It was interesting and the performers were great and entertaining. Go check it out
FUN FEST LONG ISLAND GRAAT CIRCUS. DUE TO LIBERALNEW YORK LAW NO ELEPHANT ACTS ALLOWED. THE HANNAFORD FAMILY PUTS ON A GREAT SHOW.
very disappointing show. show was 1/2 hour late getting started, first hour performances were lame and boring, excessively long intermission over 45 minutes, second half hour performances were again lame and boring. this was not at all like the old circus when struppi was running the show. nellie just does not have the same talent. nellie's daughter runs a much better 1 hour show at the county fairs.
Up close and personal. Thrilling for all. It was very entertaining for all ages.
MJ Nesheiwat is the new name for the Mid-Hudson Civic Center. The seating chart shown on the Ticketmaster is totally different than the seat I thought I purchased. Initially the seats I bought were in front of the stage, somehow I ended up watching the back of the performance. Its like they added a row to get additional seating/money. There is no handicapped access and you are not allowed to bring in strollers. My daughter is special needs and does not walk. I had to carry her through the lobby and up the stairs to get to the bathroom. At no time did I notice an elevator. Not a good setup at all.
The seats we sat in had an obstructed view although they were not identified as that upon purchase. I would’ve recommend seats at all along the sides. The shop was cute. There were no moments that blew us away. They definitely make their money on the kids. Bounce house is available at the beginning and intermission for $10/3 minutes per child. They have pugs and dogs and a few other animals which were cute. The aerialists were probably the best part. It was something to do. I probably would go again.
It was ok if they had elephants and other animal acts would have been a lot better. They had tigers and camels.Should have more clowns to the show.Souvenirs were blah nothing with the circus name on them The female acrobats were nice to watch.Since ringling bros are gone they need to step up there game.Make the show an experience the kids and adults would love to see overe and over
My daughter is 9 and loved the show. We plan on going back next time they’re in town. However the prices for the rides and souvenirs were insane. If you can keep your kids happy without paying a fortune for one circle around the ring on a camel it’s worth it.
First time attending the Royal Hanneford Circus and I was not disappointed. My two year old had a blast and it kept his attention the whole time. We will definitely be attending again!
We had a great time at the circus in Florence, SC, on March 7, 2020. Tickets for children were reduced and our seats were good. The extras like camel rides and food and drinks were fairly pricey but this is expected. We all thought the acts in the rings were excellent! The four girls I took were totally entranced the entire time, which was almost three hours. I would definitely recommend it for families and will be going back!
Most of the acts were just ehhh, not exciting. Animal acts were so so not riveting. Best act of the whole show was motorcycles in the dome cage. Not a good value, family of 4 with good seats (not the best seats) approx. $250.00 Our 2 kids ages 6 & 2 were not excited.Probably will not go to this show again if it were to come back to town. Oh yeah, the sound system was like a fast food restaurant speaker system
It was boring. There was far too many failed attempts at adult humor, which lost the attention of the kids. The kids are the future spectators of the circus, it was not a memorable experience for them. The lion show was in slow motion. You could see that the lions were intimidated by the woman swinging the whip. I spent 120 on the tickets To take my two granddaughters to this event, which I didn’t think was too bad. But once inside, the prices are ridiculous. They charge 10 for each child to ride a pony for less than 2 minutes. 10 for a bag of cotton candy. And 10 for each balloon. Save your money and watch the circus acts on America’s got talent. For more entertaining.
I took my children and my nieces to see the show. It was amazing the kids had a blast. The amazing acts left them stunned and amazed. They were begging for more. My daughter was obsessed with the clown. All the performers were friendly and delightful. The kids talked about it all the way home. The next day they were playing circus.
It was AWESOME! Just make sure you bring cash for all the fun stuff!
Both my wife, Kat and I found the Royal Hanneford Circus to be dazzling, exciting and funny!!! We highly recommend that everyone comes to their show!!!
Show was really excellent family fare . While other circuses are closing , or scaling down measurably , Hanneford is still a full 3 ring show , with production numbers , aerial displays , animal acts , fast paced acrobat/gymnastic feats , " wheel of death ", racing motorcycles defying gravity in a steel globe , foot juggling , and a " flying " act with the classic triple summersault to the " catcher" performed with beauty and style !
