There's a reason RuPaul calls him the Hilarious Ross Mathews! He was hilarious, such a great show!
He went there and everywhere. Nothing off limits. Very funny, engaging. Lots of audience participation. Would definitely see again. House of Blues is a great place with unique decor, good food, nice ambiance, and killer service.
The venue was beautiful. Ross and his material not so much. It was a waiting game for something to land that made the crowd laugh. It was very disappointing and we ended up leaving before the show ended. I guess it makes sense why there were so many empty seats.
Ross Mathews did not disappoint! I so needed a night out filled with fun and laughter, after being diagnosed with two different kinds of cancer within the last 6 months and undergoing major surgeries. I have been a huge fan since the start, when he was Ross, the intern on Leno. Lovable, witty, intelligent, relatable humor and talent!
It was so nice to see him!!!! He looks amazing and he was hysterically funny. He was a riot.
We has a blast at Ross’s show!!! Haven’t laughed that hard in a long time!
The show was Interactive and I laughed the entire time !! 10 out of 10 would re visit.
Ross was fantastic! Very funny. Kept us entertained the whole night. Was surprised the event was not more packed.
He was absolutely hilarious. As one of the straight men who got dragged there by his wife ( a joke was made specifically for this lol), I had such a a fantastic time. He has an amazing stage presence and knows how to work the crowd. He said he wanted everyone to have fun, and fun was exactly what was had. We will be going to any show in the area he does in the future! Do more at The Paramount please!
Ross was a fantastic host and made you feel like you were family. The Queens are so talented and their energy was contagious. This is an up-close and personal experience. We are so glad we got tickets early because it sold out quickly. Don't think twice about getting tickets to Ross Mathews Dragtastic Bubbly Brunch, just do it. I wish there were more shows in our area.
A great show! Ross was so funny and so nice. The queens were very entertaining and interactive with the crowd. The only drawback was it was hard to see the queens if they were not on stage. Would maybe recommend a screen to watch them when they are on the floor.
First, the location felt like a work conference and unless you were in the first row you couldn't see much. Second, the performances made it clear the artists were only there due to contractual obligations. None of them had their heart in it and it was only two covers per artist and then they were gone. No audience interaction, story line or anything else. Third, the drink were over priced and watered down. We left after about 30 minutes due to disappointment.
Let's start by saying when we bought our tickets we made sure time and time again that we were gonna be seated together and my husband and I were sad apart. The drag show itself was absolutely unbelievably amazing. After the show we paid $40 for the meet and greet and i guess my expectations were a little high. It wasn't a pleasant experience. We had a photo that the gentleman took, it was absolutely awful... he didn't even say he was going to take it. Refused to take another, so I have a photo I'm totally embarrassed to show anyone. Ross Mathews just wasn't the fun loving person I had expected to meet. He wasn't rude, just obviously inconvenienced. Made me pretty bummed.
The queens were entertaining and energetic, but the seating situation at the Clearwater Resort Casino in Washington was horrible! 800 people, sold out and all on one level, so when the queens went into the audience, as they often did, you couldn't see anything for at least 80% of their performance. In addition to the audience spot lights which GLARED directly into your eyes, further inhibiting your views. These things should really be taken into consideration when performers work the audience as much as drag queens do.
The show was great! Ross kept us all entertained and the 4 drag queens were amazing. Ross dealt with an over the top woman he aptly called Chad that threatened to overtake thw show. Then the awesome security at the venue took care of her. Ross and the Queens were so sun and talented. I will never forget the show!
This show was an absolute delight. I enjoyed myself so much than other drag shows I have been to recently.
The event was amazing. Ross Matthews is charming, hilarious and perfect as emcee. The queens were entertaining, and I especially enjoyed Irene the Alien and will be looking to see more of her here locally in the Seattle area. The Clearwater Casino event space was large enough. I have attended other events in this space and had no problems. The lighting technician for this event kept shining an extremely bright spot light right into an entire portion of a sections eyes, so much we all had to cover our faces or turn away for minutes at a time, causing us to miss part of the acts. It was headache inducing and frustrating. Part of the VIP section was also covering their eyes. There were other issues with the hotel but this review is mainly for the event itself. Definitely go see this event at another venue!
Ross Matthews, aka Ross the Intern was as funny in person as he was when on the Tonight Show.
Ross is a treasure to be cherished. We need more Ross!
This venue had limited food options for guests on a Friday night. After spending $250 on this event we ate a sandwich out of a plastic box. They had a very non- VIP setup to meet Ross Mathews. It was standing outside a door and into a hallway to meet him in front of a step and repeat. It felt very radio station/ last minute tossed together. This has no reflection on Ross but the venue needs to step up their game regarding the full experience. The overall experience of the venue I would give a 1 star too as the location was great but the experience was a 0.
