About

Rosalía is a Grammy & Eight-Time Latin Grammy Winner who has quickly "leapt to the forefront of the global pop landscape" on the strength of her innovative musical fusions and distinctive style. She has repeatedly shattered barriers for both female and Spanish language artists, while being widely hailed as: "a complicated genius ... reflecting femininity and strength... a new generation leader...making Flamenco a global phenomenon... while becoming Earth's Most Exciting Pop Star." With the May 2018 release of Rosalía's innovative breakthrough single "Malamente (Cap.1: Augurio)" - and the fall arrival of her landmark album "El Mal Querer," fans worldwide quickly embraced Rosalía's phenomenal vocal capability meshed with her now fully realized fusion of classic Flamenco and other timeless music styles of Spain, with R&B, hip-hop, contemporary Latin-American rhythms and electronic beats. Coupled with Rosalía's strong influences from industrial visual arts, female empowerment, fashion and choreography, it became clear to critics that: "El Mal Querer is a boundary-breaking modern masterpiece ... that has resonated like a shockwave... it stands out from virtually everything else on the global pop landscape."

As a result of the album's long-running impact, and additional 2019 singles that followed, Rosalía garnered a GRAMMY Award, standout GRAMMY performance, the historic first-ever Best New Artist Grammy nomination for a Spanish Language artist, and eight Latin Grammys, including Album of the Year. Additional acclaim has included 2 MTV VMA's, multiple magazine covers-including the annual Sunday New York Times Magazine's special Culture Cover, highly praised Coachella and Lollapalooza festival appearances, the most watched global YouTube video of 2019 for a female artist, and "Best Music of the Decade" picks from Rolling Stone, Billboard, GQ, The LA Times, Pitchfork and more. While Rosalía has spent a large majority of time immersed in the creative process of writing and recording her eagerly-awaited next album, she also finalized landmark brand partnerships with Nike and MAC's "Viva Glam" campaign, lead the field of LATIN GRAMMY winners for the second year in a row became the first-ever all-Spanish language music artist to grace the COVER of VOGUE in the United States (with the January 2021 "Vogue Values" issue, photographed by Annie Leibovitz), and joined Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, the Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Arca, Tokischa and more on massive streaming collaborative tracks. Now, 2022 has seen Rosalía begin her next creative chapter with the music of MOTOMAMI-the 'The #1 Album of The Year By Critical Acclaim' - according to Metacritic, and the focal point of her first and just launched extensive global tour.

Amazing show, not the best venue

by Bex on 10/20/22Coca-Cola Roxy - Atlanta

My review is a bit mixed. On the show side, I have been a huge fan of ROSALIA for years and was so excited to finally see her. She put on a spectacular performance and I loved that she did not have any openers (sometimes this isn’t a great situation, but it worked out wonderfully here.) so much energy and excitement. My biggest and only gripe is that the venue is not my favorite. I’ve shared expedites from my time at the Roxy before but it seems like there’s always something. The venue has a time for doors to open and yet they never let us in on time. The fans are left to wait outside for hours and hours. (Doors were at 7, I didn’t get in until 8:30-ish? Which was originally the time the show was to start.) to add insult to injury at around an hour past doors, someone from live nation came around asking people if they wanted to pay $50 to get in the venue now. This feels like preying on fans who already paid to enter the venue. If people don’t buy the ticket upgrades we shouldn’t all be left to wait outside even longer or pay extra. It’s such a bad look and money grab. It’s honestly distasteful. Secondly, the venue isn’t slanted on the floor so unless you happen to have a great view (maybe you paid $50 additional dollars to get in 30 mins earlier than everyone else)! Or you’re tall, the view of the stage is pretty limited. The way that the venue is laid out means also that people in the back can’t see great due to low ceiling from the balcony. There’s a good bit of shows coming up at the Roxy soon but I’m hesitant to attend because it’s been a bad experience at the venue every time.

    venue so unorganized

by ayoh on 10/20/22Coca-Cola Roxy - Atlanta

rosalia was great but ive never been to a more unorganized concert. staff didnt know what was going on with the different lines, there were fast passes being sold last minute that staff werent even checking for, the doors opened and they let like ten people in at a time, the show started late, it was just a mess. do better next time.

Love Rosalía, but Coca Cola Roxy is Awful

by shayco on 10/20/22Coca-Cola Roxy - Atlanta

Rosalía is an incredible artist and put on an incredible show. Really disappointed that it was at the Coca Cola Roxy though. This was my third terrible experience here and I only went a third time because I love Rosalía so much. First off, the line was soo long. We arrived 30 min after doors were supposed to have opened but the line, which wrapped all the way down the street, was not moving. We waited for at least 45 min in line before finally getting to the front. Second, the first time I went I didn’t realize they have a clear bag policy. That’s on me. But I had a tiny bag that fit within the parameters of their non-clear bag rules, and they still made me check it in their lockers. Third, yes they have lockers but they cost $20. Twenty dollars on top of the ticket price and parking?! Fourth, parking was $40…. And it was still a ten minute walk from the parking deck to the venue. Absolutely absurd. Fifth, when I went for Rosalía, I was wearing a chain belt. They pulled me out of line (after waiting 45 min) and told me I could either throw it away or check it in a locker because it could be used as a weapon. I had to remove my belt to go in an my only option was to throw away an article of clothing or pay $20?? Absolutely not. Finally, the set up is awful. This is the only venue I’ve ever been in that is standing room only for general admission. If you want to sit or be in the balcony you have to purchase a VIP ticket. The pit/floor is the only option if you have a GA ticket. Unfortunately, the pit is long and narrow, which makes it really hard to see if you’re not in the first few rows. And if you’re in the first few rows, as I was for my second experience here, you are smashed together with a bunch of strangers. It’s truly a terrible experience from all perspectives.

    Dallas/Irving for the W

by Marisela Chabez on 10/19/22The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - Irving

We stayed near the venue at the Westin so walking to the concert was a win and a first for the 4 of us that went. We also loved the fact that everything was near by. The venue was just right and the layout was great. The show itself was amazing. Rosalia has one of the greatest voices out there today. The only one thing I didn’t like was no one told anyone especially new to the venue that you needed to scan to get in, stand in line a band and they scan your ticket again and even though you have a band they scan it again just to stand in general admission. That was weird and not all at very thought out.

    Great show, bad organization/experience

by Diana on 10/18/22713 Music Hall - Houston

Rosalia was great! however, the sound at the venue was really bad. I was in GA close to the bar area and at times I could not hear the artist properly. People around the bar area were drunk and talking (screaming) to each other and I could not hear Rosalia. Awful experience, wished I had bought tickets in a seated area but not sure if the sound would've been better there. Also, tickets said 8:30pm doors opened late and show started 9:30

    Great performance

by Wheel on 10/18/22The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - Irving

We sat on the lawn at Toyota Pavilion and even there we had a great show. Rosalia is an amazing performer and her stage presence is immaculate. Other artists i’ve seen require flashy stage lights or lasers but Rosalia impressed me more with just a white backdrop, a camera man and solid backup dancers. I wasnt necessarily a huge fan of hers and the only reason we went was because we had nothing else to do with our Friday night but man am I fan now. I’ll definitely be going to see her for the next tour! 10/10

    Phenomenal

by Matthew Saucedo Cabrera on 10/17/22The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - Irving

Rosalia is an amazing artist and she performed much better than I anticipated. She made the fans feel loved and gave them her full attention. She filled the arena with joy and excitement as everyone was immersed in the intense, yet incredible performance. Her interaction with the crowd was unlike any interaction I’ve witnessed before. I would definitely attend another one of her concerts in the future!
