best game I have seen in 3 years most definitely go again
Everything was fine except for the seating on the visitor side. Cheap benches.
The lines for concessions were unbelievable...they needed more people working and more open concessions!
The venue is okay. Seats are very uncomfortable. Steep steps, saw no ramps to walk up as I have knee problems. The outside of the venue, had many activities going on. For parking, ticket taking and security they were so unprepared. We were rerouted 3 times for parking, and the parking lots still had spaces in them. So buy the time we parked and walked to the stadium the lines were very long to get in(45 minutes before game time). For each gate they had 2 security scanners with a lot of people in line(we got in as they were singing the National Anthem). At the end of the first quarter they were still people in line to get in which is unacceptable. They only used 2 baskets at each security station for your personal items which held up the line. They ran out of soda at the 2 concession stands we were at. I will not go back to this bowl game again.
Great national yet local bowl game ! Stadium very nice ! Bowl game well presented And OWLS won!
The FAU Stadium is nice, and there were plenty of pregame activities. As an FAU alum, it was especially great to watch my Owls win!
The venue at FAU is great. All seats are close to the field. The weather was miserable but it was fun getting soaked at a football game. That hadn't happened in thirty years!! The biggest problem we had was that our seats were first row on the aisle. Normally they are fabulous seats. However throughout the game kids kept coming down and standing at the rail blocking our view. I kept shooing them away but the kept coming back. Their parents thought I was wrong shooing them away. Ridiculous. I paid for a good seat and should enjoy it. Instead I had to stand to see the action on the field which unfortunately resulted in me blocking others view. I kept looking for Event Staff but there were none. There should be staff at each section taking care of these issues.
The night was a series of driving rain storms. Even walking the grounds with an umbrella was somehow objectionable. I know you can't control the weather but you can control your reaction to it. Once again it was unthoughtout rules and a lack of flexibility in they're implementation that ruined the experience
I would not advise paying for parking. We paid $25 and didn't get any special parking different from people who did not pay! Stadium food was just ok.
Great experience for the first bowl game at this location. Wasn't rooting for either team playing but still had a great time.
My Marshall rocked in the Boca Raton Bowl!! Had a blast with friends.
The stadium was easy to find and parking was okay. The seats were great - close enough to be a part of the game but far enough away to see the whole field. Overall a great experience!
I had no team playing but could not asked for a better night at my college stadium. Talk with some great folks from both teams who loved to be able to come down for the holidays and enjoy our weather.
Great Event.....not a bad seat in the house. Best Bargain..$9.00 pretzel and lots of free stuff
Price of seats was awesome. The game and atmosphere were great.
Very good venue. Need a second jumbo screen in north end zone.
We enjoyed theBoc Bowl. The stadium is very nice. Seating excellent no benches. The fan fest prior to the game was great!
awesome stadium. Not like most college games with a bunch of drunks. This stadiumj is practically brand new and have been going to fau games since it opened up. The boca bowl will attract more people as soon as it becomes known as this was the first year. Stadium was about half full and no complaints at all. Even parking was free which is unheard of for a bowl game
The game was fun, fans were enthusiastic and we'll behaved.
The game was very enjoyable. It was the only bowl game pitting two conference champions against each other. NIU and Marshall were fairly evenly matched, and for most of the game the stats were very similar, so it made for an entertaining, high-scoring game. FAU is a really nice venue and we would go back there for future events. The only downside was that the parking was not clearly identified. We paid $25. for parking at the time we purchased our tickets, however, upon arrival on campus we found the signage inadequate to indicate where the $25. parking was located. After the game we found we had parked in one of the decal lots, quite a walk to the stadium, but the shuttle fixed that. So, as it turns out we parked for free, no parking ticket received, and the $25. spent at Ticketmaster was a waste of money. This was a minor inconvenience as the game was great and the venue as well!
