The venue itself was spacious and we were really impressed with the stage. Of course, RCPM was excellent! We loved the older stuff and weren't too impressed with the new CD. It seemed that they didn't sound their best with those songs. It was worth the 6 hour drive. I liked that you could walk around the venue and enjoy the outdoors. There are a hell of a lot of smokers though. Gross.
Venue was perfect! Band put on a fantastic show! Would definitely go back again next year! I wish the ticket prices weren't so high and that the band played a little longer.
Great night out with my husband. The Talking Stick Resort was phenomenal. We ate at the Ocean Grill prior to the concert and it is now one of my favorite haunts. The concert venue was perfect. Lots of room to sit or stand. The venue is smaller, but perfect to get close to the stage. We also sat in a booth toward the back and waitresses brought us drinks. Perfect night and will definitely return.
I had a blast at the roger clyne show! Was so much fun I can't wait to go again. Talking stick is pretty cool but will have to check it out more when I'm not as faded!
Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers play every show as if it is the last show they will ever play.
Very intimate! The sold out show was crazy but I didnt feel uncomfortably crowded. Rogers set list was great and all the band stayed after to hang out with people.
Take 800 of RCPM's greatest fans and put them in a great venue like The Talking Stick Resort and you have the recipe for a perfect night of fun and entertainment. The band went above and beyond and added an extra percussion and horn section, which only added to the performance. Having seen RCPM in many different settings, this event is by far one of my all time favorite - and this is our second year in a row traveling in for this concert.
Another great concert by Roger and the guys! They sang a great mix of old stuff and new stuff... California Breakdown. Can't wait for Circus Mexicus!
It was a great time in a great place, prices wear a little on the high side for two hours, but it was still a great time had by all.
The music production business is making it harder for the average Joe to see a show. A 25% upcharge on a $50 ticket is downright absurd.
Decided to take the wife, on a whim, to see her favorite band play at the Arizona State Fair. I've been a fan of Roger Clyne/The Refreshments for quite a while, though have never had the opportunity to see them live; though the wife had seen them on a few other occasions. Since her birthday was right around the corner, I snatched up a few reserved seating tickets for a fair price and was incredibly surprised to be seated less than 15 feet from the stage. The show itself....well, what can I say? It was incredible. Amazing show which went on for well over an hour and half and they played all of the music we love and hear regularly as well as some deeper tracks that we both enjoy but don't hear on mainstream media. The wife was INCREDIBLY excited when they played her favorite song"Switchblade," and I was more than happy with the performance in general. Mr. Clyne and you crazy Peacemakers; we will be back to your live performances as often as you make an appearance. Thank you for an amazing show.
Roger was entertaining as always! He played a great line up. The security was a little annoying and the fact that he was only allowed to play for 90 mins sucked but he still was awesome!
Another great entertaining show by Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers - performed at the AZ Veteran's Memorial Coliseum on Friday, October 18, 2013! What a treat to be able to bring our kids to join in on the music, singing and dancing. Enjoyed nice surprise guests, members of The Jons and Dead Hot Workshop. Kudos for playing through an encore that provided time to fit in an extra song! Nicely done!

As always Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers put on an unbelievable show. They rocked the house and were still humble enough to hang out after the show and say hi to every single fan who waited around to say hello. Awesome.
Up until two weeks ago...I'd never heard of these guys. A friend was in town for the night and this was about the only rock gig going on. Man am I glad we went!!! These boys have what looks to be a very loyal following and it's no wonder why. They played hard and long...and even though I really didn't know the songs, they stuck in my head for days afterwards. If they ever come through your town...don't hesitate! Be a Peacemaker for the night!
I had waited so long to see Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers, and they did not disappoint! The show was vibrant and electric, packed with their great songs, plus many old Refreshments favorites. The whole audience sang along to every song. Made some new friends, enjoyed a great meal- a first-rate evening out!
First time seeing them, but not the last! They were great!!
