Rodney Atkins has been bringing Tennessee wisdom to country music lovers for the last decade. He is currently on tour to promote his fourth album, Take the Back Road, which promises to provide listeners with new things to think about as they move through life's journey. Atkins first attracted the attention of music producer Mike Curb in 1997. When his debut album, Honesty, finally did come out in 2002, the title track quickly rose to the top of the charts, hitting No. 4 on the country music charts and landing on Billboard's Top 100 within weeks. Since then, Atkins has released another three albums, all of which have quickly gained popularity.
Strengthened by his commitment to authenticity, his current concerts include new hits like "He's Mine," which is based on the contemplation of parenting a teenager. His songs demonstrate a commitment to family and other wholesome, traditional values. Atkins concerts tend to play before packed houses across the US that are ready to sing along to his simple lyrics and dance to his steady beats. He thrives on audience interaction and pays attention to his doting fans. At one recent concert, he made a star out of a five-year-old boy who wanted him to play "Watch Me" for his father in heaven, pulling him up on the stage and giving him guitar picks and a microphone to take home with him. It's no wonder that tickets to see Atkins are a hot commodity, and fans all over adore this honest country musician.

The venue was nice & small, I liked that you could choose to purchase seats or stand in GE. The setting w the singers was casual as they were performing their song acoustically. Bathrooms were easy to get to & clean. My husband would’ve been happier if there was Budlight or Coolers but he made do w the choices. I love the tickets were reasonably priced, I hope more artists we enjoy perform at this venue.
This was held at the Squamish "Event Center," which is to say a venue similar to a hotel's connected meeting rooms. The acoustics were very poor. No stadium seating. All in all, a disappointment. Will never go there again. Poor Rodney worked with what he had. He worked hard for his money.
Opening act was outstanding and got everyone ready for Rodney. He was a little overpowered by the music in the beginning, but they smoothed everything out and the crowd really had a great time. Small venue that got everyone up close and personal. Rodney handed off the mike numerous times as the crowd sang along with him. All in all and outstanding concert.
So much fun ! Got a fist bump from the man himself !
Small venue setting was great. Venue itself was fair, as seating was on level ground so tough to see over very larger folks in front of me. Music was awesome Just wish the show was longer!
Rodney was great! The smaller venue made it a little more personal!
This was a top notch show. Great interaction with the fans.
This show was amazing, The music was fantastic the artist were great the only drawback we had all night was there was a 930 curfew while having a concert at a fair seemed a bit odd
Rodney adkins and Justin Fulp wete outstanding. Dillion carmichal was good to. Family friendly atmosphere
He sounded incredible live, and the band was AMAZING!
Great show bought the kids we all had a really great time
I had the BEST time. I was alone, but the couple sitting next to me rocked. It was the most fun I've had in a very long time. We sang, danced and had a blast. I did feel bad for Rodney that there wasn't a full house. People don't know what they missed. Great Night.
Rodney Atkins put on a heck of a show, preceded by an excellent opener, Martin and Kelly. The acoustics were not good - this is on the venue.
Rodney put on an awesome show. really connected with the audience.
I honestly went just because my husband wanted to go. I am so glad I did!!! It was amazing he was awesome and so was Martin and Kelly his openers. Great experience not overwhelming with crowds . I am now a huge fan. I would definitely go again.
Loved seeing country music so close to home! The Cabot looks great after renovations and I look forward to going back to see another show soon.
Atkins and Smith were great performers. We loved their songs. The problem of these "rock" concerts to us is that those younger people stand up, dance, and chant. Many moved to the front from back and stayed there, blocking the sight from the front rows. We understand that that is how people enjoy these parties disguised as concerts. We, however, are not like them. We wanted to enjoy great songs and listen to what those people speak. We purchased two seats (Row E) and did not want to stand to listen for 3 hours. A girl in front of us never cared to look back before standing and consider if she was going to block our view, which she did completely. She was having a great time, trying to get attention from the performers. Everybody else around her soon needed to keep standing. Why did we buy tickets at Row E? Next time, we will not buy tickets to these "rock" concerts full of self-centered partiers. I know we sound like party poopers. We need to accept the fact that we will not be able to enjoy songs and talks alone at these so-called country music concerts. Too bad. As far as Atkins and Smith were concerned, we liked their music selection and songs. Nothing wrong with their performance. We appreciated that they came to Mystic. We will not go to their concerts again.
Loved when he sang with his wife! Concert was incredible.
The venue made it possible to be up close and personal. It may be 7 yrs since he's been heard from but he's not missed a beat!
