What an amazing rodeo, so happy that we went to it... first time that we have had this kind of top notch PRCA performance so close to us!!! I hope that this will become a yearly thing!!!!!
Great rodeo, great contestants, great stock. Glad they are bringing this to Grand Island, however timing is everything. Not scheduling this during state basketball/wrestling would be a better choice for families. Ticket ordering system could have been better. Letting a customer choose the seat from a diagram of what is available would have been preferable. Some people like to sit near bucking chutes, others prefer the roping box, or somewhere in the middle. As it was, you were only give the choice of "best available" seats for a price range and the number of seats you want. We were seated right at the bucking chutes but could hardly see the roping box until the horses got out a ways.
The rodeo itself was good. It's been a long time since I've seen that many riders cover their mounts. However, the tickets were very expensive. I would have like to attend the other events but it was too pricey.
Very organized! A lot of big names! Hope they make it an annual event!!
Had a great time at the Rodeo Grand Island!!! Recommend the event for next year to anyone!
What a great thrill to see top competitors and bucking stock! This was better than the NFR because of the close seating. We had row 2 seats, which would have been great, but our view was obscured by panels. There was no way to know this when purchasing tickets. These seats with obscured views should have been discounted or noted when purchasing. The production was great and I think with better advertising, the stands would have been filled.
Rodeo was great! The entertainment in between events was great. Not a bad seat in the house!!
