    Mayhem Fest is Freaking Awesome

by Palmreeder on 7/12/10Shoreline Amphitheatre - Mountain View

What a great show and a great time. The music was heavy, loud and great. All of the bands were signing autographs, free Rockstars were a lifesaver, Metal Mulisha kicked ass, the Harley Davidson booth was great, super fun crowd at Shoreline, kudos to the umpahloopas and banana man, where ever you are...

    Mayhem Fest Rocked!

by CSlayer1451 on 7/12/10San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - Devore

The Yagermeister and Silver Star stages lines ups were killer! 3 Inches of Blood, Shadows Fall, and Norma Jean especially! As for the Main Stage, 5FDP surprisingly put on a great show, Lamb of God was the heaviest by far, Zombie put on the best show and KoRn was great! Overall Mayhem Festival 2010 Kicked ASS! I will definitely be there next year!

    Mayhem was decent

by TommyBoy1234 on 7/12/10San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - Devore

Realistically, if the promoters wanted everyone to stay to the end, Rob Zombie should have been booked for last. On the other hand, Korn being last guaranteed I got to go home early! Overall pretty decent on the small stages. Chamaira really stole that show, I think. The pit for Atreyu was really weak. Rob Zombie & 5FDP put on great shows. No big complaints!

    Mayhem was Mind Blowing!!!

by ms8091 on 7/12/10San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - Devore

The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival on 7/10/10 (opening day), in my mind, has far surpassed the two previous Mayhem tours. I was extremely impressed with the bands, the vendors, the stages/props and the band schedules. I also liked the motocross this year, it added something different to the day.

    Metal to the max!... Kinda

by headknocker81 on 7/11/10San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - Devore

Pretty much everything thing was awesome from autographs from Rob Zombie, John 5, and Chimaira to the shows by Hatebreed, Korn, and Lamb of God. This show would get a five in my book if they would get rid of bands like Norma Jean and Atreyu. Show gets a 4.5 but the thing would'nt let me.

Lamb of God: only band worth watching

by ROBO34 on 7/11/10San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - Devore

Jager stage and stage next by showed bands that sucked ass and bands that came close to blowing me away. Probably the highlight was the performance by guitarist from Atreyu. Bands like Norma Jean had way too much simplicity and no variety; just because you play drop d and have off-beat double bass riffs doesn't make you metal (or quality metal for that matter). Some bands have fallen off the deep end with the exception of Five Finger Death Punch and Lamb of God. 5FDP put on a killer opening show that pumped up the crowd for Lamb of God! LOG rocked it (not the best choice of setlist w/ minimal time IMO, but as always went out strong to close with "Black Label"). Not to offend: Rob Zombie was terrible; vocals stood out too much and sounded abysmal! Drummer was awesome and stage looked cool with lighting and fire, but it wasn't enough to keep me around long enough to watch Korn. Overall message: Lamb of God, please find another more suitable tour with quality metal bands. Mayhem wasn't for me..

    HEAVY!!!!!

by Whosoever on 7/11/10San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - Devore

KoRn was as energetic as ever, the sound was great, & the atmosphere was awesome, great way to promote their old skool sounding new album. Rob Zombie was the perfect compliment to co-headline. Sidestage highlights were definitely Hatebreed & newer more unknown band Sangre. Also having Metal Mulisha ride next to the sidestage while pits were going on 30 yds away was sick.

Every band had a great show. The music sounded nice, the food way good( a little pricey) and the whole atmosphere was great!

    Hatebreed ruled

by Janr8rfan on 7/11/10San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - Devore

The entire show was great. I didn't like the way one band played right after the other, from the silver stage and the jäger stage. I wish there was some type of break in between the stages, but I guess there wouldn't have been that many bands. Had to miss some of the bands in order to get food, drinks and a potty break. I certainly made sure I didn't miss HATEBREED though. The minute they were on stage the crowd got so intense. People were jumping up and down. Hatebreed had the biggest mosh pit going. Even though some of the crowd started throwing trash, shoes and whatever else anyone felt like throwing, no one around me got hurt. I was having a great time and the people around me seemed to be having a great time too. Like I said the whole show was great. I can't wait for the next Mayhem Festival. A total of 9 of us went for the first time and we all plan to be there next year!!!

Rob Zombie knows how to put on a show

by Johnny3232 on 7/11/10San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - Devore

I've been a huge Korn fan for 11 years. They got me into Rock and Metal and I've seen them a bunch of times. That said, Rob Zombie and Co. completely stole the show at the Mayhem Festival. Korn should have opened for them. Apparently lots of visuals, lots of fire, lots of naked women on projector screens and flawless musical performing is the winning combination. All the bands were great and it was a surprisingly good line up but ZOMBIE alone was worth the price of admission. Has to be the best live show I've ever seen; and I've seen Rammstien!

    Pure Mayhem

by ChadThomas1987 on 7/11/10San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - Devore

I actually only made it in for the last 4 bands because the parking lot is where all the partying is. All bands were amazing, this was my first time Korn and Zombie and although both bands blew me away, by far Zombie outstaged Korn

Once I was in I was IN!

by Whonkzb on 7/11/10San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - Devore

Troubling coming out of general parking first time with VIP to find proper access. Got checked in @ 1:15pm and BAM it was all Mayhem all day, Hatebreed best field pits! Drink prices were decent in lounge....I was back and forth all day, bought albums & did not even go back for the signings.....I photo witnessed Johnny Plague @ Will Call booth redeeming my lanyard & Brian Fair talking in front of VIP lounge area right after my pocket check! All the Bands were good, few amazing.....Screamed, Moshed & Partied with old friends I happen to run into. Great Show in CALI done RIGHT.
