Not enough ticket sales was a win for me, they let everyone into the pit.
It was a great show. Every band put out their beat stuff and the majority of goers were respectful of person boundaries. But what got me was that before the show all tickets became the same price. However I couldn’t go into the pit even though I paid the same amount for my ticket as the pit people. In order to go in I’d have to buy a whole new ticket for $10 more than was advertised on their site. Normally I’d try to get into the pit anyways but I found a group of people to go wild with in the stands.
Definitely has potential to be the next warped. Only issue is the bands they chose(which I love) don't seem to have that much of a following anymore to garner a huge audience. Every got bumped into the pit area which meant people like me who paid full pop got screwed. The show itself was fantastic, being able to see every band without any overlaps was fantastic.
From beginning to end , it was amazing. I never knew what was going to happen next . . . . I have never been to a Punk Rock Concert . . . which was really a Show ! My Heart is still pounding . I will never forget this experience.
I went with my best friend and boyfriend. And it was an amazing time. We got to meet some rather nice people we had blast listening to all the bands and getting to just enjoy our day. The staff was amazing and so helpful. This was a day for the books for sure
I had a great experience. Just the drinks were expensive and we got a water cause it was so hot and the water was frozen so we had to sit and wait for it to melt just to jave a drink. But other than that great experience!
The used was the only act worth watching, whoever booked this did a terrible job.
The event was great and staff was really helpful. What I didn’t like that Ticketmaster didn’t send me my ticket for parking & I paid for it to be mailed. Ticketmaster should do a better job with that, I don’t know who drop the ball in forgetting to put my parking pass in with my other ticket but I didn’t like that.
It was an okay event. Really disappointed that the some of the headliners cancelled. No Sum 41 or Atreyu was just too much for most to accept as the event was not "packed"
As someone who got pit tickets i think GA one price tickets for all sections first come first serve is the way to go for these kinds of events. It was awkward to be in a half empty pit.
I crowd surfed for the first time in my life and it was a lot of fun. Seeing sleeping with sirens was super exhilarating and I can’t wait for next years festival.
The crowd was awesome, the artists were awesome. My friends and I had so much fun and this was honestly the best festival I’ve ever been to. The staff was super helpful and I loved how the staff at the front of the stage would spray everyone with water because it was hot. I enjoyed being able to meet some of the artists and chat with them too. Best concert ever!
It was so lit that i barely remember anything. Had a blast!
Been to the amphitheatre a bunch of times for shows and tour events. This particular event seemed like it was forced and last minute. While all the elements for a good show e.g. awesome bands, beer, food were there it was missing something. I also wasn't a fan of the one stage one band thing. To long between sets means lots of people meandered and lost their spots at the front. I give it 3 stars for nostalgia of my favorite bands from high school. Hopefully next year they plan it out on a Saturday and throw down a proper show instead of a Tuesday at 1pm.
+The bands played one at a time across two stages. All the bands on the first stage played, then the show moved to the main stage. This was nice because it was easier than dealing with the hustle and bustle of Mayhem Fest. +The bands that I went to see (The Used and Circa Survive) put on a really big show. Some of the other groups did well which was an added bonus. +The purified water station was a nice add on. It was easier to stay hydrated at this show than at other, similar shows. -I didn't know many of the newer bands and Sum 41 didn't play. But I don't think there was much that could be done about that.
The festival was awesome, the bands were incredible and the energy levels by the end of it we're great. I understand its a tour so Tuesdays are inevitable, but the day kinda stunk cause people were tired, I was exhausted and had to leave early. If it was a weekend day, this festival really has the potential to be big. Just got off to am awkward footing since it was a Tuesday and it's first year
Was good but definitely needs better bands to promote. But it was an attempt at a festival and I love that. But better artist please I’ll be back for this next year!
For some reason the venue was pretty empty (maybe due to it being held starting at 1pm on a Tuesday). But this was great for me bc i was able to easily order food and drinks without having to wait, get to my seats without too much trouble and able to see the bands without obstruction. Great show! I went for circa and they did not disappoint. Worth purchasing individual seats at this venue.
The bands were great, however i bought a lawn ticket and was moved to a seat which konda ruined the experience for me. I go to concerts for the social interaction and was very disappointed that it was taken away.
The lineup was dope but the fact that it was at a pavilion and seats for bands like the used, thrice and the story so far was horrible. it was just a dry festival but the acts had great sets. the inside stage at houston felt so weird but i did like the set times and how they felt switching fast. overall was decent and hopefully in the future they can make it feel more like a festival and a connection with the music rather than being far in seats and paying $175-$375 for a pit ticket or meet and greet for your favourite artist.
