I have been to a few Icehogs games in Rockford. The venue is nice, clean, and modern, Its not too big. Most seats in the arena have a good view. And parking right across the street is very reasonable.
Facility was ok, few vendors in stands. Hammy blimp dropping coupons broke down. One time during game t shirts frizbees were thrown out to crowd. Game action was mostly by visiting team. Ice hogs have been beat every game in chicago, now also at home against wolves. Love hockey, ice hogs frustrating.
My only real complaint is that they have gotten rid of all free public parking. This really bothered me because it meant I had less to spend at the game and had to leave earlier (didn't get to see the end of the game) so that my husband could make it to work on time. My seats were great and the game was good. Wish the refs hadn't stopped all the fights.
Great game to see.The IceHogs won in overtime.would recommend all hockey fans to attend a AHL game.
The Hogs won an amazing, physical game, with a Shootout win!
My family and I had a great time. Especially since there is a lock out, it was great to see some of our favorites players. We love Ben Smith, Shaw, Hayes, Pierri, Morin and of course Hutton. We had great seats and enjoyed watching the game. Go IceHogs!!!

Rockford's home opener was actually good, the crowd was into it, the game was full of action, the only thing that would've made it 5 stars was if they won.
We're from the Chicagoland area and enjoyed the game. It would have been more fun with a win. It really is a drive, more than expected with the roadwork.
The IceHogs are good fun to watch at an affordable price. You can see players that will move up to the NHL some day. The guys skate hard and show a lot of style. Nothing like being at the rink with the rest of the fans.
I bought these tickets for my son and half way thru he texted me, "THIS IS AWESOME! Thanks a lot mom! :)". If you knew my son, believe me that said A LOT!
Had never been to an Icehogs game, but our family loves Hockey. It was a great value, particularly compared to NHL games. A lot of fun, a lot of 'character' in the stands with some of what I would presume to be 'regular' fans. Given the size of the BMO Harris Bank Center it appears there isn't really a bad seat in the house. I would definitely consider going again.
