The event was great! The gameplay was incredible and entry was smooth. Re-entry was quick and easy with the wristband they gave.

    Non-RLC fan converted!

    by NBroth on 7/13/23

Attended with my son, a huge RLC fan and I think of it as car soccer. I feel very different now! Entrance process was so easy! Wonderful stage set up- I can't imagine there was a bad seat in the whole arena. The excitement was infectious and the meet and greets were really well organized. Thanks for an outstanding experience!! We will definitely be attending future RLC events!!

    BOSTLAN

    by GAGS on 7/12/23

I saw the announcement for this event live, and as a student in Boston, I immediately texted all my friends to save the date and take off work. The experience was outright spectacular. I've attended another RLCS LAN event: the World Championship in season 7, though the Boston experience easily trumped the New Jersey one. Perhaps, playing into it could be the fact that I am now 21, as opposed to 17 last time. For the low variety of specific drinks, the was a broad range of different kinds of drinks. This included beers, IPAs (my favorite of the options), wines, seltzers, Celcius energy drinks, and a fairly small selection of fountain drinks. The food selections felt a bit more limited than drinks, though only in terms of meals, not snacks. Everything is, of course, a little overpriced, but from what I had I enjoyed the pretzel and hot dog most. If you want chicken tenders you have much better luck at Raising Cane's across the street, though the line can get very long so plan accordingly. Even if the food was not overall impressive at Agganis, the real price of admission was in the storylines. This, of course, not only includes the entire season leading up to this event but also the implications this event had on the coming World Championship. None of this is possible without the passion and hard work of the teams (including players, coaches (Ferra Goat), managers, and other staff that had booths or watch parties), casters/commentators, production crew, venue staff, etc. I will admit, as a somewhat NA believer and optimist, I was rooting against Vitality coming into this event, although by the end when there was no hope for MeNA, South AMERICA (basically Brazil but yk), nor of course NA themselves (losing Chronic), it took Ferra winning us over from Rise's Charlie+PR buff to make us all scream U-S-A for an all-French team. Stunning and thrilling to see Zen wave that American flag in person, as well as have him and so many other players truly pop off and beat the odds that were stacked before them. I will say that it is fate that the two LANs I've attended, Vitality as an org has won. I am now a Vitality fan 100%. Wonderful event. Will always recommend RLCS LANs to anyone who has the chance or is interested in it. The food really could've been better for the price they charged but with so many other great quality restaurants around it'll salvage my overall rating to an 8.5/10

    A Thrilling rocket league event

    by Owen on 7/12/23

My experience at the Rlcs spring Major was incredible. It’s so much more fun watching the matches live in person than watching the matches online. The crowd was unbelievably loud and cheerful and it made the experience awesome. I also got to meet my favorite players, casters, and content creators and get a picture with those people and even get them to sign my jersey and my controller and all of them were very nice and friendly. The grand finals were the best part and it overall was the thing that I was glad that I didn’t miss out on that. I would definitely go back to a Rlcs Major or even a World Championship one day.

    Birthday gift for my son

    by Justamom on 7/12/23

We attended the Rocket League tournament in Boston at Agganis Arena. It was my sons first time at a live tournament. He really enjoyed the experience and I would recommend it for anyone who is into gaming. The Arena itself was nice but it was very cold and the volume of portions of the event were uncomfortably loud. The event while exciting at times was very long. They could shore it up a bit by cutting down on time in between games. The arena typically has a more extensive menu than what was offered during this event so that was disappointing. They also need to sell coffee for parents or allow people to bring in their own coffee. I am not a huge fan of general admission. Assigned seating would have allowed us yo not have to split up so that someone could always stay back to save seats. Overall the tournament was well done and very exciting at times even for someone who doesn’t fully play or understand Rocket League.
