    Not great

    by S. on 11/6/19Leon's Centre - Kingston

Really hated the music before the skating...was not into the band at all. And I think for me that started off the show poorly. Also wish they introduced every skater that came onto the ice. Really sad and disappointed to say that I was underwhelmed by the show as a whole.

    Fantastic family event

by Rene on 11/6/19Leon's Centre - Kingston

We thoroughly enjoyed spending time at this event, from the band we’d never seen before (Birds of Bellwoods) to the skaters we have watched for years, it was awesome.

Great Skating but the first hour...Ugh

by Chantal on 11/6/19Leon's Centre - Kingston

The skating was beautiful, don't get me wrong. The only part that left the crowd annoyed (as many mumbled around me) was the fact that the first hour of the show was a band, whom you couldn't understand a word they said. They sang for 30 mins , then we were told there was a 20 intermission. Then the stage was disassembled and the ice was then flooded. Our show ticket said 5 but skating didn't start until 6. Once the skaters took to the ice it was magical (which is what we all came to see). They make it look so easy, they were flawless. Elvis has always been one of my favourites and he didn't disappoint. Tessa and Scott were gorgeous and seamless. At times there was so much happening on the ice you didn't know where to look! All in all I enjoyed the skating very much but sorry to say the Band was not a good fit for the crowd. They need to think of the demographics of the people they are attracting to the show. Alternative Indie rock is not a great choice. I understand they are trying to "make it" but not a good choice.

    Enjoyable!

    by a. a. on 10/30/19Stampede Corral - Calgary

Overall an enjoyable show! Too much downtime until the show started. Opening band was ok but could have skipped it.

    Great show attended with children

by Happy fan on 10/21/19Brandt Centre - Evraz Place - Regina

The show was very good with very entertaining performances by all skaters. We attended with a five year old who loved the show. Sound and audio were fine. Tessa and Scott were so good as always. We were so happy to see their last performances here. Venue provided info on band and skating times. As we also had a six month old with us only attended skating but enjoyed the band's number that they played during the show. One of the best skating shows I have attended.

    What a Show!

by Skating Newbie on 10/21/19Brandt Centre - Evraz Place - Regina

A super fun night. The skaters had great energy and personality. It was great to see Scott & Tessa in person and although I'd never heard of Birds of Bellwoods I enjoyed their set. This would be a 5-start review based on the show, but I had to dock a star for the sky-high ticket prices. I assume the cost is why the arena was half empty, because the show was excellent.

    An Exceptional Evening of Entertainment!

by nibotear on 10/19/19Stampede Corral - Calgary

The Rock The Rink performance was as entertaining as we had expected, and eveyone in our party loved it! It was just the right length, and left us wanting more. It was great to see our 'tried and true' Olympic Canadians, but it was also nice to see Carolina Kostner, Jeremy Abbott, and Anna Cappellini and Luca Lanotte. It was fitting tribute to Scott and Tessa with their impending retirement from ice dancing after the tour! Our only negative comment was regarding our seats. Although our tickets on the ice gave us a whole new perspective of figure skating, and we felt like the stars were performing just for us, the chairs were small with no space between them, and even average-sized people were uncomfortable. We had to move every other chair back about a foot to give us some room. Paying top dollar for sitting on the ice should warrant a comfortable viewing vantage point!

THe Best Beat Staes on Ice

by susan on 10/19/19Stampede Corral - Calgary

I have attended many skating show from watching the Ice Capades. Stars on Ice ( I have only missed one since it started), Worlds when it was held in Calgary AB and now Rock the Rink. It was a wonderful performance Scott and Tessa rocked the rink it was very emotional and I am so happy I was Ice Level to see this. The only problem we hadwas our tickets were switched because of an error when they were sold but in the end we had better seats on ice level we went from ice east to ice north . Thank you to everyone else who participated this was a night to remember

Rock the Rink will rock your heart!

by Pj on 10/19/19Stampede Corral - Calgary

A bittersweet show as it marks the retirement of my favourite figure skaters Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue’s retirement from the sport and moving onto to their new adventures! The show featured many other amazing athletes like Patrick Chan! A really fun show to watch and enjoy!

    What a Swan Song performance!!

    by F. T. on 10/19/19Stampede Corral - Calgary

The stars of Rock the Rink were so "on point" - i loved everything about the show except the fact that's the last time i'll see Tessa & Scott skating together 😟 It definitely was a show for the ages and money well spent ❤❤.

    Unforgettable

    by M. on 10/19/19Stampede Corral - Calgary

All of the skaters were breathtaking to watch. Sitting right in the ice made it so very personal. Tessa and Scott were magnificent. Not a dry eye in the place with their farewell skate. I took the most amazing pictures. The passion and story they bring to the sport are irreplaceable.

Worth the trip to Calgary. Great skaters. Great performances. So much fun, energy, emotions. A night to remember. To treasure the memory of seeing Tessa & Scott skate live.

    Good show, bad sound

by AmU on 10/14/19UBC - Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - Vancouver

The event was great, but the venue has lackluster sound. I couldn't hear any of the band's lyrics or what they said when they spoke. Some of the recorded dialogue was too hard to hear.

    Fantastic skating!

by E. on 10/10/19UBC - Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - Vancouver

I loved the show, everyone put all their energy into it, and the different 'acts' were very entertaining. My only complaint was the music was way too loud.

    Amazing and Awesome!

by JudyN on 10/10/19Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

We loved the skating and choreography displayed at "Rock the Rink". Truly a professional job and experience. The Birds of Bellwood were also a pretty good opening act although we were unfamiliar with their music. All of this show is certainly worth seeing, because you will probably never see this again! Good luck on the tour Scott and Tessa and all other world class skaters. We loved your performances!

    Music too loud

by Peter on 10/10/19UBC - Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - Vancouver

Great skating, but the opening band was very amateur, and all music was way too loud.

    Rocking at the rink

    by mdross27 on 10/8/19Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

We loved the event! The skating was continuous, high energy and fun! The tribute to Scott and Tessa was touching but not overdone. The music was great, and the live band had some good moments, as well. Highly entertaining!

Canadian Royalty ... up Close & Personal

by KLM on 10/8/19Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

When you get some of Canada’s greatest skating and performance talent together, with their esteemed International Stars, Magic Happens. Their friendships and mutual respect is evident and the performance is multiplied. It was such a Beautiful tribute, though Bittersweet, to Scott and Tessa and a Farewell that we will have a hard time accepting. We watched them grow up together and soar to the Pinnacle of Success - they are “our kids”. The other amazing “kids” are Patrick Chan and Katelyn Osmond. Elvis Stojko never disappoints - his roles brought laughter and cheers - he’s still “the man”. The Special effects and multimedia aspects of the show added to the experience. The Musical component was good, but the beginning it seemed like it was just an opening act - much better at the end of the show when they were integrated into the skating performance. This was an evening to cherish with the skating fans of all ages. Even if you didn’t know any of the esteemed skaters, it was a show that could only serve to awe you with the talent and entertainment.

    Wonderful evening

    by B. R. on 10/8/19Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Rock the rink was all that I thought it would be. Great performances from all the skaters. Didn’t care for the pre show, couldn’t understand a word the band was singing, once in a life time evening
