The music was amazeballs! Sooooo good. Will come back next year. Things to work on...lines if possible. Stage where the food trucks were so the pavement slopes down towards the stage. People sitting in chairs might be able to see better? Also the sun factor might me better for those seated. The stage had a roof so already in the shade. Not sure electrically if this would work. Coming back.
This was the best event to happen in Cranbrook in many years, if not the best ever. So much fun. My kids (ages 9 and 11) loved it and can't stop talking about it. They were rockin in the front row, got a guitar pick, got a picture with Al Harlow, and were introduced to the best music ever made. Food trucks were amazing. Hope this event comes back every year, we will be there. Only complaint is the beer selection was not the best, more options would be appreciated. Thanks for a great job, it was a great weekend.
The venue and most of the bands were awesome. April Wine however was terrible. We were embarrassed for them. What a huge disappointment.
This concert was very well organized and the weather cooperated. If it had been over 30 degrees out, people would have baked. The music was great and so was the crowd. Never felt too crowded, but there were lots of people in attendance. The alcohol was terrible. Appealed to a very select market. There should have been more choices. I mean lemonade and sage gin cooler? yuck.
Rock the Kootenays on Saturday was a blast. The music, the atmosphere, the food and drinks. We really enjoyed the experience!! Well done
Super awesome event. Hats off to everyone involved for bringing this event to the Kootenays. I had a great time. Never thought I'd see half of these bands again. Their music is still relevant today. So good to hear heart and soul music. Please please do this again.
