This was a fun show! I love 80s music and fashion so it was right up my alley. Plus, if you like 80s music, you already know all of the songs - and they do some cool mash-ups. We didn't get a Playbill which I thought was weird, but otherwise, good show!
The show was fantastic - saw it a few times on Broadway and this was just as good. I bought the dinner & show package and would not recommend it. Just get the show tickets and do dinner on your own. We ate at the Atlantic Grill, we were told it was a limited menu. They weren't kidding. A choice of just 3 appetizers, 3 entrees & 2 desserts. Portion sizes were miniscule, the guys were all still hungry. Had I known what the limited menu entailed, I never would have done the package.
This was a fantastic show with Broadway quality actors/singers. We loved it.
Best show ever! Loved every minute of it!! Even bought the CD.
see shows on Broadway or London as they are the best...if you have never had the Broadway experience this was an ok show to see

Liked the show a lot Thought the cast was very talented. Glad it was the full Broadway show and not amended.
We had seen the movie, but the musical Rock of Ages in Atlantic City was even better! The cast, costumes, music, sound, story, couldn't be any better. It was amazing from start to finish. We danced and sang in our seats, every single song.... an incredible performance that I recommend everyone to see.

A for effort for the cast but the price of the tickets should have been much lower. The singing wasn't even close to Broadway caliber.
Show was great but I think some of the humor was a bit much to have presented to my 14 year old son who accompanied us to the show. Probably the most embarrasing line in the play mentioned that some old rocker was moving to South Amercia where he was going to learn to "pee and come" at the same time. That seemed to be a bit much. The band was great and actors were awesome. I could have done without some loud mouth in the audience who felt compelled to yell back at the actors throughout the show. I would reccomend this show to a friend but would strongly suggest they leave their teenagers at home.
Saw this show 6 times last week in Atlantic City. I have also seen the Broadway cast several times. Most of the originals have left the Broadway cast, but the touring company is substantially the same as it has been. And they rock! Justin Colombo as Lonny has become every bit as good as Mitchell Jarvis, who played the original role on Broadway (and even before that "off Broadway"). The ensemble cast had new performers on Friday night, but everyone worked together so well it was still more like a big party than a Broadway play. That being said, this is either a show you love or hate. Can you guess that I am one of those who love it? If you love 80's music, and big hair, this "play" is for you. But be prepared to rock. And if adult situations offend you, you should probably stay away. Lots of adult humor and some scenes with strippers, so probably not good for the kids either. But if you want to feel more like you are at a concert than a musical (with the live band Arsenal onstage for the entire show) this is for you. You will swear that the music was written for the play, and not the other way around. Very creative use of some of the best music of the 80's. And if you're wearing a Bluetooth earpiece- take it out!
well done. rivaled the broadway production. price of the event excluded many people who would have enjoyed the show. bought tickets late so choice of seats limited
My wife and I have seen this show on broadway 21 times and this Atlantic City show was just as much fun. Best show ever in my opinion.
We had 4th row center seats and had an amazing time!! The group went and saw it in NY also earlier in the year....it was equally as fun in AC! Would go see it again! Loved loved loved the Band!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOO Much fun!!

The show was amazing, the music was perfect for each part of the show, the sound was awesome and the actors were great and the band was unbelievable, if you grew up in the 80's it's a must see. It Rocked
This show ROCKED! such a twist from the movie which made it alll the more enjoyable, felt like a whole new plot! Loved how the performers interacted with audience! It's a must see!!!! Hysterical too!!!
Awesome show. The cast was outstanding. Everyone should see this show. I will be going back again.
