  • Everyone had a great time!

by RockDadMD on 3/6/14Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Music and acting was amazing. Funnier than I thought and teh music was top notch, you couldn't help but sing and clap. Some part inappropriate for my 12 yr. old but wasn't too bad.

It was kind of fun, but I really enjoyed the movie a lot more. I wouldn't recommend this show.

  • Did not meet the hype

by Sonira on 3/5/14Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5

Show started late by about 15 minutes. The theater didn't open at 2 as promised. The theater opened at about 3, and we had to stand in the cold rain for over 45 minutes. The show itself was very average, nothing spectacular at all. The performance didn't match the publicity!

  • Phenomenal Show!!

by DCMikey on 3/5/14Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The cast was great, the music brought back memories. The show was really, really well done and the musical and acting performances were incredible.

  • Great show. I'd see it again!

    by P4002 on 3/5/14Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Show was fantastic. We noticed a couple of things not lit up and supposed to be on the set and a few technical problems, but that's just us. Would have rated it 4.5 but since no in between went with 4. I would definitely go again and highly recommend people go if they get a chance. Really awesome show. A good time!!

  • Way Better Than Movie

by mmc1099 on 6/23/13Sands Bethlehem Event Center - BethlehemRating: 4 out of 5

Love love loved it! Way better than the film. The film wasn't awful, but some things that work on stage just don't work on film.

This was an amazing show! Good story line and great 80s songs, of course! Made me want to sing and dance along with the cast! Was enthralled with the show the entire time!

  • Rock of Ages rocked the house

by AmethystM on 6/14/13Sands Bethlehem Event Center - BethlehemRating: 4 out of 5

Rock of Ages is one of my favorite stage shows and the touring company did a fantastic job with it. The set, costuming, and choreography were a close match to the Broadway production. I first saw RoA on Broadway in November 2011 with Constantine Maroulis as Drew, and I don't think anything will ever quite match that, but the event at Sands was a very close second! But that is why I can only give it 4/5 stars.

  • Show was good but seating wasn't ...

by homershere on 6/14/13Sands Bethlehem Event Center - BethlehemRating: 4 out of 5

Rock of Ages is well worth seeing. Starts off great, gets a little slow in the middle and finishes strong and full off energy. It's a great show and worth seeing again just not at the Sands event center. We were on the floor for seating. By the end of the show I had a sore neck from trying to look around the people in front of me.

Not up to the par. The artists seem to be singing beyond their optimum pitch.

  • Felt Like Broadway!

by Kazak55 on 6/13/13Sands Bethlehem Event Center - BethlehemRating: 5 out of 5

The voices were amazing. The tongue in cheek humor, especially with the narrator, was wonderful. All very skilled actors. The band played just like the originals! The story line, albeit a bit corny, was really fun and not taken too seriously. The crowds' standing ovation served as testimony to a truly unforgettable performance.

Awesome show. If you grew up in the 80's, you will feel like a teen again. A concert, comedy and love story all in one!

  • Absolutely Incredible!

My husband and I have been to many shows/musicals---Broadway and elsewhere. This was by far the best show we have ever been to. The music was great, the actors/singers/dancers were amazing, and the show itself was so entertaining, Don't miss this one...you will not be disappointed!

I was surprised with the show, I had seen it on Broadway and really didn’t expect the level of the show I saw. The talent and presence was just a good and the size of the venue made it even better. The 80’s music blended into a storyline works well, did they select the music and create the storyline or the other way around, either way it works, and especially if you like these 80’s type hair band ballads. Rock On
