Mana we've seen before & love them. They always put on a great show!!! 1st time seeing Metallica, they rocked it!!! Awesome experience! !! Only negative review I have is they didn't serve domestic beer. Corona was the sponsor. Not a big fan of Corona/ Modelo.
HERE LIES A 70 YR OLD GUY WHO WAS THERE AND CANNOT SAY BUT WHAT AN EVENT IT WAS FOR ME, I WAS THERE 6 HOURS AND DID NOT KNOW ONE SONG BUT THAT DID NOT MATTER, I TOTALLY ENJOY THE EVENING AS BEING IN THE V I P AREA AND YES MGM DID IT RIGHT BY PROVIDING A GREAT EXPERIENCE THEY HAD RUNNING WATER TOILETS PLENTY OF PLACES TO SIT AND ALL THE FOOD OFFER WHERE GREAT, AND THE FOOD OFFER TO US V I P WAS EXCELLENT AND THOSE WHO ATTENDED WERE THE BEST YOU COULD HAVE AT AN CONCERT NO ISSUES I SAW BETWEEN ALL THERE GREAT JOB MGM WISH I COULD GO THE NEXT WEEK NIGHTS AND AGAIN HAVE A GREAT TIME

What an incredible weekend, awesome bands, d.j's, and performers! The line- ups were great and what a selection. Lots of choices for food and drink, stuff going on everywhere, no time to get bored. Really nice that there were lots of bathrooms and bars, didn't have to stand in crazy lines for stuff. Okay, there was a long line for the zip line, but hey, just the one. Music was spectacular and the vibe was great. Totally going to go again!
Rock in Rio was my first real festival and if I could do it all over again I would!! Bring Rock in Rio back soon!!
Well, this was an outdoor, two day, mega-concert. The venue was built just for it. Nothing was a disappointment. I heard complaints that handicap seating wasn't excellent. The sound was amazing, indoor/outdoor... I've never heard a better sound from a concert. So if you're a fan of any band in the line-up for this event... It's well worth the cost.

First...Metallica killed it!!! That was about the only highlight of the weekend...The Pretty Reckless was also very good. After that things get very sketchy. For starters...when did No Doubt (Gwen Stefani) become a rock band..I'm not sure what they would be classified as but it sure as hell isn't rock. And why they would be the closer on Friday is beyond me. Almost all of the other bands were more rap/pop/urban than rock. They should never have called this a "rock" weekend as it was not that by a far stretch. As I said earlier, Metallica made not just Saturday but the whole weekend...they crushed it!! I took my 18 year old son and he was just as disappointed by the lineup as I was. $13 for a can of beer, $35 for a tee shirt, $15 hamburger....etc. The cashless system was actually a good thing, getting in and out is a hassle as it's not on LV Blvd. If not for Metallica, I would be hugely disappointed in our experience..it just didn't make a lot of sense to me and others I spoke to.......
The lineup for both days was well worth the 300 bucks I paid. No Doubt, Mana, The Pretty Reckless were amazing!! Great Visuals and great music. The second day was even more amazing. The whole festival was based off the second day almost. People were just hyped for Linkin Park and Metallica. Of Mice and Men played a great show they seemed really in sync and weren't off beat. Visuals were amazing for both Linkin Park and Metallica. Rise Against were ok, and I think a lot of people already knew that them live is not wow but its cool. Hollywood Undead was good, I'm not a fan of them so I wasnt like hyped for it. They seemed to have a good crowd show up. The attractions were really cool, which included the zip line that went over the crowd on the main stage, the shops on the different streets was really cool. The food and drink were pretty expensive but its a huge festival so I understand. Overall, I would definitely go again if I had the chance to. I hope that Rock In Rio can continue to come to the U.S. and Las Vegas was the perfect place to have it in.
We were amazed by the venue and the performances. Linkin Park, Rise Against, and The Pretty Reckless ROCKED!! The wristband payment method worked great for us and the lines moved MUCH quicker than other events we have gone to. Food and drink prices and selection were really good.
Took my 10 year old son. Seeing Metallica was #1 on our bucket list. They did not disappoint!

Rock in Rio thought of everything to make your experience smooth. The line up was great and the app for your smartphone was awesome. I hope they keep Rock in Rio going in the States!
OMG! Metallica was amazing. It's such a great site to see 15-75 year olds singing 30-35 year old songs. James really knows how to capture an audience. Definitely will be in Chicago on 8/1 for Lollapalooza in Grant Park. I was able to get up front for the show but I felt sorry for the folks in the very back.....you need 2 more HD video screens about halfway back for better viewing, otherwise it would have been 5 stars! The lineup could've had a few better bands such as Avenged Sevenfold, 3 Days Grace, System of a Down etc. It was obvious that No Doubt has not performed together in a while as they were not as polished as the other bands. They should not have closed the show on Friday night. Overall, great fest!#!
FIRST...DISAPPOINTED in that they announced Linkin Park and Metalica when they announced the festival. I thought WOW great start to a great lineup but they ended up getting 2nd rate acts to fill the rest of the weekends lineup......They say that there were less than half the people they expected yet there were long lines for everything and the main stage was crowded. Next year I will wait till the full lineup is announced before I purchase my tickets.

Rock in Rio was a blast! Metallica was a show stopper with there four song on core! I also loved Linkin Park! The rest was meh. I am honestly bummed that we bought our $300 a piece wristbands when they first announced that Rock in Rio would be in Vegas. If we would have known that all of the good bands were on Saturday we could have saved a lot of money! Everything was really over priced even by strip standards. I was sad that the Farris wheel didn't even run the first day and the line for zip lining was ridiculous!! I wish there was more things to do!
Festival was well setup, only problem was they put on a poor first day line up in my opinion luckily the second turned it around
Had a lot of fun. Great venue and town for a festival.
My husband & I Have wanted to see Metallica live for years! So happy to do it @ such an amazing venue! Truly made the experience unforgettable! Not to mention the weather was perfect that time of year! Two thumbs up!
