No Allegiance to Rock
by Mountainman123 on 9/26/13Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroThe show was undersold and took place in the basement of the Greensboro Coliseum. I paid $50 for tickets in advance, but they were selling them for $15 each the day of the show. The first band of the line up, "Airbourne", was a no show. It appeared that "All That Remains" was using a vocal background track to lip synch with and that the drummer was using a drum machine to produce a double base beat with only one base drum. The third band, "HIM", was a skinny young bohemian dressed kid backed by awesome musicians. The final act was Volbeat, a middle aged group, who referred to their music as "church" and "our Sunday" repeatedly even though it was Monday night. Volbeat sounded like they do on the radio.
