Great show at the Bear's Den! Started out with some sound problems, but fixed them within a song or two. After that it was smooth sailing. Wish they played more songs/longer.

We thoroughly loved the show. The opening act, Shameka Copeland was a real treat. We felt like we got 2wonderful shows for the price of 1. The Robert Cray band was everything and more than what we had hoped for. They played non-stop for two hours, we would definitely attend another one of his shows again. Unforgettable evening!

First, Shemekia Copeland was incredible, I was just blown away by her vocals and the 2 guitar players. I have been to see Koko, Katie Webster , Aretha and I must say both myself and my wife are still talking about her performance. She is a real up and coming star, someone should invest in her, ( wish I had the dough ). I have been to a dozen Cray Band shows and this one ranks right up there with the best, I am not for the soft so I was pleased with the selection and some of my favorites, Phone Booth, Some Pain , Some Shame, Back Door Slam etc. I wonder how many noticed Robert playing a cord and the reverb I guess it is call playing while he played the next note flawlessly, to me Robert is the very best guitar player out there, Well done.
NEVER ABAD SEAT AT THIS VENUE OPENNING ACT WAS EXCELLENT RC HAS AMAZING VOICE LIVE IN CONCERT AND HIS PLAYING AND SONG CHOICE COVERED WHOLE SPECTRUM OF HIS AND THE BAND TALENTS IN IT WAS COOL TO SEE DAVE OLSON IN ATTENDANCE

WE LOVED THE SMALLER VENUE. THE BAND WAS PHENOMINAL. WE SOMEHOW MISSED TEE SHIRT SALES TO OUR DISSAPOINTMENT. OUR ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE DRINKS WERE BADLY WATERED DOWN. WE TRIED SEVERAL DIFFERENT BARTENDERS. ALL THE SAME SO WE GAVE UP.
Excellent concert....never a dull moment! Robert Cray is very personable and also one of the most talented musicians I have had the opportunity to experience.
I would urge any fan of the Blues to experience Robert Cray live. He is destined to go down in history as a true Blues icon along with the other Blues masters. His unique style is fun, inventive, expressive, and true to the genre. Impeccable guitar work and perfect pitch. The Avalon in Easton, MD is the perfect intimate venue allowing a deep personal experience. Go see Robert at the Avalon next time he's in town.
Robert is always a pleasure to hear and see but this time he was even better than I remember. He is one of the best guitarists of all time!
