About

Robbie Williams In Concert

In the 1990s, he was one of Britain's premier pop bad boys, riding his time in the mega-selling Take That into a hit-studded solo career. Today, Robbie Williams is one of the world's most celebrated pop artists, having notched six albums in the Top 100 best-selling U.K. albums of all time, achieved a Guinness World Record for most concert tickets sold in a single day, and released a slew of singles — from the sweeping 1997 ballad "Angels" to the cheeky 2012 banger "Candy" — that hit No. 1 on charts around the world.

Williams first became known to pop audiences as a member of the British boy band Take That, which he joined when he was 16. His swaggering presence and soaring voice added an edge to the Take That singles on which he sang lead, including their 1992 cover of the '70s pop classic "Could It Be Magic" and their 1992 soul-pop confection "I Found Heaven." Williams and Take That toured the world to massive audiences, but the singer felt dissatisfied, and he left the group in 1995. He launched his solo career with a cover of George Michael's "Freedom '90" a year later, and his 1997 solo debut Life Thru a Lens began his long-standing collaborative relationship with songwriter and producer Guy Chambers. Together, the two wrote the massive hit "Angels," which won a special BRIT Award for Best Single of the Past 25 Years in 2005, as well as the cheeky U.K. chart-toppers "Millennium" and "Rock DJ." In 2001 Williams' duet with Nicole Kidman on the classic pop tune "Somethin' Stupid" hit No. 1, and in the years that followed, he embraced a wide variety of music that could be filed as "pop," working with electropop pioneers like Pet Shop Boys and William Orbit on 2006's Rudebox and dipping into swing on two albums, 2001's Swing When You're Winning and 2013's Swings Both Ways.

Williams rejoined Take That in 2009, touring with the group on the 2011 Progress Live tour and popping in for the occasional show in the years that followed. He's also been focusing on his solo career, releasing the strutting The Heavy Entertainment Show in 2016 and announcing his first Las Vegas residency, Robbie Williams Live in Las Vegas, which goes up at the Wynn Las Vegas' Encore Theatre in March 2019.

Robbie Williams Vegas Residency @ the Encore

by embellish on 7/6/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

Robbie Williams is a well-known pop/rock artist/performer throughout much of the world, except for the United States. For American fans—such as myself—Robbie’s Las Vegas residency provided a long overdue opportunity to see him perform live. He did not disappoint. Robbie is in great shape and voice. His set list was not heavy on the hits, but served to tell his story through music as a bad-boy pop artist—who has also dabbled in rap and swing—turned survivor. The concert also paid homage to Las Vegas, replete with showgirls and dazzle. That said, Robbie rocked the house, having the audience on their feet the entire show. The Wynn Encore Theater is an intimate space with superb sight lines and acoustics. In addition to being in good voice, Robbie is a consummate performer. He readily connected with the audience and his between-song banter was hilarious. He is joyously self-deprecating, sending up any and all rumors about him.

    The World's Most Entertaining Man

by Kathy on 7/3/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

The show was amazing. The venue was just big enough. It helped that we had front row seats, but truly Robbie Williams is an exceptional artist. He is funny, warm, insightful and so very talented. The music was beautiful, his voice is spectacular, the dancers were on point, truly an unforgettable show. This was my first time seeing him in concert after 20+ years of waiting for the opportunity, and it was worth every penny. Robbie Williams is a gifted performer and America really has no idea what they are missing out on. Best Show Ever!

Good Concert. He always is a show man.

by DanySan on 7/2/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

The true i like to hear more original songs, but is Las Vegas show. so if you go whit this in mine you gonna like it. If you want hear Robbie Williams regular concert this is not the place, theater is good for shows if you are in the first floor or first road in the second floor, good price for the tickets but of course the drinks is an exesive price . The 5 Star is more for Robbie no for the theater or drinks.

It was everything I wanted and more. I’m American and Robbie (sadly) isn’t very popular here in the states.... there wasn’t a huge US turn out but I couldn’t have been happier to FINALLY SEE HIM LIVE. The hits I wanted to hear were sung, the energy was high, and it was BRILLIANT! Thanks for coming to Vegas Robbie!!! It blew me away!!! ❤️

    Amazing Show

by BadgolferIN on 6/30/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

I'm so glad I got to see Robbie in the venue the size of Wynn Theater. You could see him connecting with everyone. He sang all the favorites and ended the show with the best - "My Way". I've never understood why Robbie hasn't been appreciated in the United States. He is not only a singer, but an entertainer. The moments with his Papa were very special. Thanks Robbie for a great show.

    Worth the Wait

by C. Gos on 6/29/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

I've been a fan of Robbie Williams for about 18 years now. Seeing as he has never been able to break into the American market, despite being loved around the rest of the world, I have never been able to see him perform live. The concert was everything I expected and more, what an entertainer. Even if you don't know who he is, you would find yourself laughing, clapping, and dancing along with the rest of the audience. This was definitely a dream come true for me. Thank you Wynn and Robbie!
