About

Robbie Williams In Concert

In the 1990s, he was one of Britain's premier pop bad boys, riding his time in the mega-selling Take That into a hit-studded solo career. Today, Robbie Williams is one of the world's most celebrated pop artists, having notched six albums in the Top 100 best-selling U.K. albums of all time, achieved a Guinness World Record for most concert tickets sold in a single day, and released a slew of singles — from the sweeping 1997 ballad "Angels" to the cheeky 2012 banger "Candy" — that hit No. 1 on charts around the world.

Williams first became known to pop audiences as a member of the British boy band Take That, which he joined when he was 16. His swaggering presence and soaring voice added an edge to the Take That singles on which he sang lead, including their 1992 cover of the '70s pop classic "Could It Be Magic" and their 1992 soul-pop confection "I Found Heaven." Williams and Take That toured the world to massive audiences, but the singer felt dissatisfied, and he left the group in 1995. He launched his solo career with a cover of George Michael's "Freedom '90" a year later, and his 1997 solo debut Life Thru a Lens began his long-standing collaborative relationship with songwriter and producer Guy Chambers. Together, the two wrote the massive hit "Angels," which won a special BRIT Award for Best Single of the Past 25 Years in 2005, as well as the cheeky U.K. chart-toppers "Millennium" and "Rock DJ." In 2001 Williams' duet with Nicole Kidman on the classic pop tune "Somethin' Stupid" hit No. 1, and in the years that followed, he embraced a wide variety of music that could be filed as "pop," working with electropop pioneers like Pet Shop Boys and William Orbit on 2006's Rudebox and dipping into swing on two albums, 2001's Swing When You're Winning and 2013's Swings Both Ways.

Williams rejoined Take That in 2009, touring with the group on the 2011 Progress Live tour and popping in for the occasional show in the years that followed. He's also been focusing on his solo career, releasing the strutting The Heavy Entertainment Show in 2016 and announcing his first Las Vegas residency, Robbie Williams Live in Las Vegas, which goes up at the Wynn Las Vegas' Encore Theatre in March 2019.

Amazing show. Great band, great singers, great dancers. And Robbie. What can i say! He was fantastic. We felt privileged to be at his first ever Vegas show. He was very emotional talking about what it meant to him and it made it a very special experience.

    Vegas was made for Robbie

by Peggy Sue on 3/9/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

Incredible show. Vegas has never seen anything like Robbie. He put on a spectacular show with old Rat Pack tunes and some of his own old songs. I was pleased he didn't make it just another Robbie concert but rather made it a real Vegas event. The audience loved him and wasn't afraid to show it. America is finally going to realize what it's been missing all these years. I don't think they can ignore him any longer.

    An Incredible Show!

by Bri on 3/9/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

Robbie Williams Live in Las Vegas was a spectacular show! His voice is amazing and the entire show is incredible. He sings a mixture of his hits and incredible swing music. The band and dancers were fantastic and the entire show is a nod to the incredible Vegas shows and the Rat Pack. Robbie is the perfect performer for Vegas and leaves you wanting more! From the moment you enter the theatre the Robbie Williams experience begins. This is a show not to be missed! Truly hoping he gets a longer residency so I can see him again. Robbie will talk and Las Vegas will listen!

    BRILLIANT

by P. S. on 3/9/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

Robbie Williams opening night in Vegas front row what a DREAM COME TRUE ! He put on a magnificent show. The visuals , the band , his VOICE ALL STELLER! He really is the make version of Madonna! Only low point was only a small handful of his own catalogue was performed. He did acknowledge that he has to revisit the set list to add more of his own songs to the show. The Wynn what a class act to see a show! I’ll be going back in July for more Robbie !

    Fantastic Show!

by K. K. on 3/9/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

My God I love him so, the show was brilliant, so so good. The production was outstanding. I thought this was just going to be a concert and that's what I wanted, but they made it into a whole Vegas show which was lovely. He sang a mix of swing, Rat Pack and his own material, and even 2 songs with his father, which also was outstanding. Don't die Pete! Very thankful that Robbie finally came to US and please people MAKE ROBBIE US FAMOUS! :)

    OMG!

by Maidenscraps on 3/9/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

Thought I would have to fly to Britain one day to see him! The show was fantastic from the moment you got in line until you got out of the theater. His humor was everywhere. His performance was fantastic! His songs were phenomenal. Only thing missing was he didnt sing candy. We were on our feet the whole time. I brought my daughter and 10 year old granddaughter and we all lost our voices. If he takes permanent residency I will fly in often, it was that good. Love Robbie!

RW dazzling very fit for Vegas (not just the show)

by JacKav on 3/9/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

RW definitely deserves to have a long-run contract in Vegas. Showman Robbie did not dissapoint, he was fabulous. The production was excellent, his glitter, his feathers and pink suit just what everybody should experience first-hand. Camp Robbie was funny and a pleasure to watch. His mix of hits were just right to show the U S of A what a superb singer he is, with just enough swing, jazz & pop for everybody to enjoy. Seeing him sing with his Dad is a joy, with Sweet Caroline being one of my childhood holiday camp favourites. RW is vey humble to be playing in Vegas, but it is emennse for Vegas too, it has and will continue to being more Europeans across the pond. The US audience were brilliant, RW jokes a lot about it, but they are out there and it is his time for everybody to experience how wonderful he is. Absolutely loved the show and Vegas is ace, I will be back. US fans get yourself over to Hyde Park for RW’s show in July.

So happy to see Robbie playing in America

by Kara S on 3/9/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

We love this venue for Robbie. It is a nice intimate theatre. I do wish he would have done more of his own material instead of playing up the Vegas show tunes experience. However, he is a great performer. The lighting and stage show was great. So happy to see him play in Vegas for a while
