About

Rob Zombie has mastered all angles of shock rock’s horror theatrics as both the frontman of his own “spookshow” solo act and the writer, director and music supervisor for nightmare-fueling films like 2005’s The Devil’s Rejects and the 2009 remake of Halloween. Zombie broke into the New York underground scene in 1985 as the co-founder and vocalist of White Zombie. By combining a childhood obsession for classic horror movies with musical interests that ranged from industrial rock to dance music, he cemented the band as one of the most influential alternative-metal acts ever by the time they disbanded in 1998. Rob Zombie continued his experimentation as a solo artist with his 1998 debut album Hellbilly Deluxe: 13 Tales of Cadaverous Cavorting Inside the Spookshow International, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and went triple-platinum behind his two highest-charting singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, “Dragula” and “Living Dead Girl.” After directing many of the music videos for White Zombie and his self-titled act, Zombie took his terrifying performance aesthetics to the big screen with his feature directorial debut, House of 1000 Corpses (2003). He’s simultaneously pursued both artistic outlets ever since, releasing his seventh solo album The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy in 2021 while directing the film adaptation of The Munsters in 2022.

    Not just a concert

by ET on 9/28/23Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre - Phoenix

Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie were amazing. Both put on such a great show that it can only be described as an experience of a lifetime. Between the theatrics, fire, puppets, beautiful sound i cant decide what really made the show. I hope they tour long enough to take my son to see them again. I left a much bigger fan of Alice Cooper than I would've ever imagined. 10/10

    Great concert

by Tim on 9/28/23Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre - Phoenix

For seeing Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie for the first time in concert, was an awesome experience. Not too big a fan of either of them, but they do have some great songs. I mainly bought the tickets for my wife who is a fan of Rob Zombie and because it was a part of her birthday gift. We had a great time. Both put on a show I’ve never seen before or even expected. The crowd was loud and so into it. And the venue was nice, for the first time going there as well.

    Decent show

by Cat on 9/28/23Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre - Phoenix

This was the last date on their tour, you could tell everyone was exhausted. Alice Cooper was the star of the line up, even though he was also tired, he still owned the stage and was excellent.

    Talking Stick Resort Amplitheater

by Scuba2 on 9/28/23Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre - Phoenix

Rob Zombie was good. The 1st row seats weren't worth the money. The event sold pit tickets that wasn't really a pit. We couldn;t see a thing because the people were standing in front of us the whole time! Will NEVER buy 1st row seats at the Talking Stick Resort Amplitheater again!

Easy in and out of Venue. Sound quality was perfect!

by kyber on 9/28/23Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre - Phoenix

This was a well put together concert. All 4 bands were amazing, not only with their music but visually as well. I had smooth entrance and exit to and from the venue. This is still one of my favorite venues, I just wish it wasn't so far away from where I live. Overall, amazing experience!

    Great show, best opening bands

by KLMONE on 9/28/23Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre - Phoenix

We hit a LOT of shows every year, and this was one of the better ones. The only complaint I had was with Filter. They had SO much smoke, you could only catch glimpses of the band. We were sitting next to the mixer and he over heard our complaints and said, "that's what the band wants."Even He was frustrated with the amount of smoke he had to put out. Hadn't seen Alice Cooper in several years, so that was probably the best set. Ministry killed it as well. I haven't followed them too much, but after this show, I will! Even the sound cooperated. A lot of times at this venue the wind blows the sound away and kind of ruins the show. Lastly, the shirts. $50. Are you kidding me? Didn't buy any. probably the first show since Kiss I haven't bought a shirt.

    Disappointed

by Rich on 9/28/23Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre - Phoenix

After the first couple of songs, Rob was out of breath. The band played well but exactly what you'd hear on the radio. The stage was awesome though.

    Amazing

by Bo on 9/28/23Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre - Phoenix

All four bands were outstanding. I was actually surprised at the level of the whole event end to end. Usually I would like one act more than another, but this time it felt like one show in four parts and culminating at the end. Amazing!

    A great night of rock

by Piggirl7 on 9/28/23Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre - Phoenix

Alice Cooper still rocks even in his 70's. The stage show was maybe not as over the top as previous tours but Rob Zombie definitely carried that torch. I overlooked the warning that our original seats had partial view block, but we got lucky and were able to upgrade to better seats at the venue. The sound at the Amphitheatre is still not the greatest but the fun we had overshadowed it.
