Riverside - catch them before the tour ends!

by BuzzChick on 2/23/23The Masquerade - Hell - Atlanta

Touring to promote their new album ID.Entity, Riverside put together a 2 hour set with a fantastic mix of new songs and old favorites. These guys sound great and have a great time on stage. Plus, seeing them in more intimate venues is a treat, too. The crowd was enthusiastic, and the band rewarded us by coming out to say hello after the show was over. Don't miss the opportunity to see them live!!!

    Riverside…fantastic show

by Bill G on 2/22/23The Masquerade - Hell - Atlanta

Opening act the Cyberian was a revelation! I had not heard them prior. Good stuff! Riverside played for 2 hours . They delivered a powerful set…songs from their catalog with a strong presence from new release ID.Entity. I got to chat with some of the band afterwards. Genuinely nice people. Great bands, great crowd …. Great show!

    The Same River(side)

by Menard on 5/3/22Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

An impactful, mesmerizing performance with Mariusz Duda’s vocals Maciej Meller’s lead guitar wizardry, Michal Lapaj’s keyboard antics, and drummer Piotr Kozieradzki’s percussion. I especially liked their renditions of Addicted, We Got Used to Us, Panic Room, and Rainbow Box. (Aside from the superb performance of the band, the venue’s acoustics seemed at times to muddy and blur the sound. I was located in the back of the standing only venue floor.)

Riverside at the Delmar Hall was awesome!

by AlfromIL on 5/23/19Delmar Hall - Saint Louis

I was so surprised when I heard that Riverside was coming to St. Louis and couldn't pass up the chance to see them right here in our own city. Attendance was not quite at capacity, but definitely large enough to make some noise and it seemed to inspire the band to put on a great performance. I've been a fan of Riverside since the 2nd album and have always loved the way their albums are mixed. The sound live was even better. The acoustics seemed perfect. At times, the lead guitar seemed slightly muted, but most of the time everything was perfectly balanced. Mariusz was very funny and worked hard to engage the audience and get everyone immersed in the experience. I never truly heard the range of his voice until hearing the band live. I was amazed. The set list adequately captured the heart of all their prior albums while showcasing the newest one and also allowed each member of the band to demonstrate their talent. At the end of the show, Mariusz promised that Riverside will come back to St. Louis in the future. I truly hope this is the case as I would love to see them again. Thanks again for a great evening, Riverside!

    Riverside at Delmar Hall

    by A. P. on 5/23/19Delmar Hall - Saint Louis

We discovered Riverside through Porcupine Tree radio on Pandora. Liked them, so when I saw they were coming, I told my husband I wanted to go. All we could say was WOW! They were great! So impressed by how good they were and his voice is great! They really rocked! Hope they come back sometime, and we will be there! Thanks!

by Wolf on 5/23/19Delmar Hall - Saint Louis

Great show. The band played cuts from there fantastic new album as well as a cross section of classic tracks. Great rapport with the fans. The Bass player/Singer was very engaging. The venue was easy to get to and comfortable to be in. I only drove 5 1/2 hours to get there from Middle TN

Electrifying Performance by a Polish Progressive Rock Band

by Steel E. Dan on 5/12/19Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

Riverside’s Wasteland album concert was a riveting, eclectic blend of melodies, synth and hard rock, symphonic sounds, balladic tones interlaced with the wide ranging gamut of Mariusz Duda’s lyrics and vocals (in perfect English). He also encouraged audience participation with choral singalongs and hand clapping. Michal Lapaj’s mesmerizing keyboard playing and physical gyrations were another energizing element as was Piotr Kozieradzki’s percussive prowess on the drums. These are the three original Riverside members . Their former talented lead guitarist, Piotr Grudzinski who sadly passed away in 2016 was replaced by Maxie’s Meller. Despite the absence of Grudzinski, it’s glad to learn Riverside is continuing their musical collaboration and creativity. This masterful musical group from Europe definitely deserves more acclaim and exposure in the U.S. Hopefully, they’ll be back for more touring in the U.S.

    WOW great show

by CaptMad on 5/10/19Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

Some one once told me if they are nearby don't miss them. That was great advice. These guys are way under the radar. If your tired of listening to Dark side of the Moon for 4,289th time this genre a wonderful relief. Been a fan for a few years but after seeing them live I have gained a lot more respect for them.

by rrhemi on 5/10/19Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

What a great show! I thought I would never get to see them since they are from Poland. I was not disappointed at all. These complex prog songs came off really well live. Substitute guitar player was fantastic! Two thumbs up!

Fun night, good friends & good music

    by Genie13 on 5/10/19Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

Great show and crowd. Opening act was good but just a tad to loud for the type of music. Riverside sounded perfect
