RISE AGAINST IN CONCERT: DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO SEE RISE AGAINST ON TOUR IN 2017
Chicago rockers Rise Against combine passionate political messages with no-holds-barred rock aggression. At their live shows the band performs hard-hitting anthems like "Savior" and "Re-Education (Through Labor)” against a backdrop of swirling lights and bold visuals that perfectly complement their frenetic onstage energy. Front man Tim McIlrath cuts a commanding figure on stage, holding the crowd in the palm of his hand as he leads the band through salvos about everything from politics and the environment to animal rights and vegetarianism. Prepare to witness plenty of fans head banging and rocking out as the band tears through marathon sets of their forceful yet catchy-as-heck songs on tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
After 16 years and six incendiary albums, Rise Against has become one of the most successful, challenging, and revered punk rock bands on the planet. Rise Against have sold four million albums globally across their last four releases, with 2011's Endgame debuting at No. 1 in Germany and Canada and No. 2 in the U.S. Their sixth album The Black Market was released in September 2014 via Interscope Records and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

Great show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A whole room waiting to relive 2007 and we were not disappointed. Senses Fail put on a great show despite some audio issues in the very beginning.. I know we were all worried when the Buddy walked off the stage when his mic wouldn't work. The venue quicky corrected the issue. Senses Fail was great but the crowed was insane when The Used came on. The whole band has such an unmatchable stage presence. Hearing old songs live was so nostalgic. Incredible experience.
The Stone Pony Summer Stage is great because there are no seats and you are free to move around. The knock is that the stage is too low, and it's hard to see the band from the back. Play at the Mann Summer Stage in Philly! Rise Against always kills, but I wish they (and all bands) would play concerts more like the way they used to be: 2-3 hours long, two 12 song sets and an 6 song encore, 30 songs total. Look at Bruce Springsteen, The Stones, etc*. Make it an EVENT to remember. *I never saw either of these bands, but I have heard about them being great concerts
This show was across from the beach all 3 acts put on a wonderful show Rise Against has such a great message that they project
Another great show by rise against! The used was also amazing! Stone pony never disappoints with their helpful staff clean venue and smooth entrance lines
This was my 3rd time seeing Rise Against, and my 2nd time seeing The Used. Show was great. Rise Against sounded awesome. Wish the venue was set up a little better with screens cuz it was hard to see from further back but had an excellent time none the less. Everyone sounded great.
overall the show was great, however the senses fail set was very short and i wish i got to hear more from them. i don't know if it had to do with the weather.
All of the bands that played came ready to rock the house. The energy was awesome and sound clarity was pretty good as well. Can't wait to see Rise Against again!
Well best show seen in awhile! First time seeing this band and they didnt disappoint! Great vibe and good crowd! Cant wait to see them again! Planning and waiting..
I saw them the last time they were at Hampton beach so it was cool to be there at this one. Senses fail was fun, the used were unique, and rise against was amazing like always.
I've been to a lot of concerts in my life and this one was hands down one of the best. Senses fail, the used and Rise Against were all incredible! The venue was nice and parking was easily available very close to the location.
Every time that I go to see this band, they never have disappointed! Absolutely terrific band to go see live!
I’ve seen Rise Against several times (since they’re my favorite band) and they never disappoint with putting on a killer show!! They’re always full of energy and really engage the crowd. This was my first time at Red Hat Amphitheater and I was pretty impressed with the venue itself. It was easy to navigate and parking was a breeze!
After seeing RA many times before... I have a real understanding as to what there shows have evolved in to. Tim seems to have slowed quite a bit with his overall energy, and it felt like he was trading the angst for routine this time. The message and in-your-face aggression the band is founded on seems shaky. I want the edge back! Another factor that made this a decent(not great as past shows) is that they failed to produce any production value. There were no screens, banners, smoke or fire, or any visuals to enhance the music at all. I will always have their vast collection of songs to plug in to my heart, but now know that the intimacy and vitality are long gone with their shows.
It was my first time at the Red Hat Amphitheater but I've seen Rise Against many times. The venue was on the smaller side. It was harder to see towards the back because there are no side screens to see the stage. So if you've never seen the band or preformer before, I'd suggest to get closer seats or be in the pit. The seats we sellected were on the end of the row, towards the lawn section. One of them, however, was a handicap seat/space. That was not made known to me when purchasing the tickets. Which lead to very confusing matters when we sat down. Parking was really affordable and close. Overall, pretty good venue. I'll be sitting closer to the front from now on. Wonderful band! Would see band again and go to venue again.
Skipped the local show here in Myrtle Beach because The Used was not playing for whatever reason so we drove 3 hours to Raleigh. First time at Red Hat Amphitheater. Purchased Pit tickets and was front and center the entire show. Senses Fail was a bust because sound check didn't do a proper job and we could hear none of the vocals their entire performance. The Used & Rise Against were phenomenal! Hope they come back again soon because we will definitely be snagging tickets!
House of Blues Myrtle Beach is a great venue for a show. The sound, seating, and intimacy of the venue are all super. They have a lot of bars, plenty of bathrooms, access to an outdoor area, and servers. The pew seats in the balcony rail are killer.
Bands we’re good except vocals muffled mostly due to the venue pit for GA in house of blues was way over crowded to the point that it wasn’t safe ..ended up leaving early.
Wish there was more options with this venue. I would of liked to upgrade to a better view/package with meet and greet or side stage package.
