    Ringling Bros. Over the Top

by loboferoz on 7/2/09Alamodome - San Antonio

We enjoy every single moment of the show, from the pre-show to the grand finale. I brought my 70 years old mother, and she was just as excited as my 6 years old. We highly recomended, it's worth every penny.

Ringling Bros. Circus truly "Over the Top"!!!

by Adriel on 7/2/09Alamodome - San Antonio

Went to Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey's 138th edition Circus and it was truly amazing! I hadn't gone to the circus in years and truly enjoyed it. I felt like a kid again. The live experience of the show is incredible. I can't wait until next year to go again. It's truly the "greatest show on earth". Arriving early was great too as we were able to meet and greet with clowns and other cast members.

Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Over the Top

by grannypants on 7/2/09Alamodome - San Antonio

I bought my tickets online and was told I could have them printed at the venue, but the lines were so long we had to stand in line for about 45-60 minutes to do so, since there were only two windows handling that. Also, my granddaughter and I were disappointed that there were not enough animal acts and too much clown comedy and talking. The acrobatics were nice but not very challenging or interesting. Bottom line, the show that was put on did not justify the $76.00 price I paid for my grand-daughter and myself.

    Ringling Bros revitalized Circus!

by heathertexgold on 7/2/09Alamodome - San Antonio

I was a little apprehensive to go to the circus again this year as the last time was really pretty awful. (cheesy, and boring) This show was a mile a minute and kept my overactive 3 yr old boy fully interested and in his seat. It was interesting enough to keep myself and my 13 yr old daughter hooked as well. There was a main clown that was hilarious. The only reason I didn't give this show 5 stars is because of the godawful concession prices. ($8 popcorn, $12 cotton candy)

    Not for little ones

    by v110476 on 7/2/09Alamodome - San Antonio

Would not recommend this circus for young families. The music was too loud and not enough "animals" for my 4 year old son. 7:30pm is too late to begin the show.....

    Quite Entertaining

by krimalnay on 7/2/09Alamodome - San Antonio

My 4 year old son was quite entertained. But his delight and wonder could not be contained when we were asked to participate in the actual arena - since we had the "VIP" passes. Little did I realize what it meant when I bought the ticket. That did make our experience quite good. Not giving to 5 stars because of the fact the comedy acts were somewhat stale and repetitive. I guess that is what kids love. Live long and prosper. -JJ

    Ringling Brothers Circus

by eeebee on 7/2/09Alamodome - San Antonio

My 8 year old is timid, and going to a circus has always been an issue because of loud noises, etc. This particular event was PERFECT for a timider child, he sat the entire second half of event without ear plugs...and is now hooked on the circus. Excellent event for children

    Over the top Circus

    by SWIMMERgirl45 on 7/2/09Alamodome - San Antonio

I went to the ciurcus with a 10 & 5 year old. This was their first circus experience. The show was great but hard to see from the VIP seats we had chosen VIP Section is located in a great place but hard for children to view the show Children had to stand up to view the show- not a good idea with others behind you in the same situation. I would of rather seen the show from the side of the arena. Snow Cones were $9.00 that was pricey ! Overall we would visit the circus again next year.,, Thanks for all you do to prepare for the show it really showed their performances.

    Miss first 2 acts

by Beulah on 7/2/09Alamodome - San Antonio

Get there late because the first 2 acts (endless clown dialouge and complete downer trapeze act) will totally burst your bubble..... BUT then it is amazing. Wow...the tigers, flying trapeze and elephants will make your jaw drop. Dont' miss the motorcycles either!!

    Great show!

by SinAntonioSoulja on 7/2/09Alamodome - San Antonio

I really enjoyed the show and so did my children. I was great. Everything I could have asked for. The only thing I can think of that might have been better is the vendors. If they would walk around selling hot dogs and Sodas instead of just $12 cotton candy and $9 lemonades, it would be alot better. I am handicapped and no able to move around very much which makes it hard for me to get up and go get something to eat during the show. If this service was offered to the handicapped it would be great. The staff was excellent and even helped me to my seat with a wheelchiar. I am a US Army Soldier just coming back from Iraq and I thank all of them for thier help. Thanks again for the great show!!

by Woohoo on 7/2/09Alamodome - San Antonio

Husband loved it more than the childeren. Was cool. Did'nt like how the cotton candy was twelve dollars and lemonade nine. But other than that it was fun. It was a long circus but that was ok.

    What a Circus!!!!

by Tine on 7/2/09Alamodome - San Antonio

It was an amazing night. We had fantastic seats and the show was absolutely incredible. I trylu appreciated the salute to the men and women in uniform being the wife of a wounded soldier myself. The kids has a super time and of course all the great treats were very tempting. Maybe some of the items sold were a bit pricy. $12.00 for cotton candy and $7.00 for a box of popcorn seems a little much. But overall, a super event. I know we will go again.
