Ringling Brothers should get rid of animals

by olivia3 on 11/13/12The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

The tigers were boring. That was too long for nothing. Also, the elephants were more interesting than the tigers but if Ringling Brothers decided not to include them in the show that would be fine too. The interesting parts of the circus were the tight rope folks, the guys rolling on these spinners, and the acrobats jumping on the mats at the end. There really is no need for animals anymore. If you want to see animals go to the zoo. It really was quite boring. I saw several people fall asleep. Also, memorable were the guys on these stilts that bounced.

    Has come along way......

by Queenamd on 11/13/12The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

Wow! What a show!!! The circus has come along way since I was a chlid, and some since I last saw it in 2004. This was the best circus show I have ever seen. My kids, 12 & 16 had a great time too! It can truly be called "The Greatest Show on Earth".

Not as good as last Show

by Anonymous on 11/13/12The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

Fully charged was an OK show but my kids both agreed that there was too much time filler with clowns and other somewhat boring acts. This is my families 2nd Ringling Bros. Barnum Bailey circus and it was a dissappointment from the last show.

5x better than an ice show!

by Anonymous on 11/13/12The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

The kids loved the clown shows and the animals. I enjoyed the amazing stunts. Hardly any downtime between acts. It's the 2nd time I've seen this show in two years

    So much going on!!

by j081 on 11/13/12CONSOL Energy Center - Pittsburgh

This is so cool!! I am 34 and this was my 4th trip to the circus. I took my sister who is 39, my 10 year old son who is an outdoor kind of kid, and my friends 6year old girl. My son and sister have both went with me all 4 times, and although my son thinks he to cool for the circus he still loves it. He said this was the best one yet.

    Greatest Show on Earth!

by MandDMom on 11/13/12The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

The circus was fun and exciting. My family of 4, with a 7 and 9 year old, enjoyed going down on the floor before the show to see things close up. We enjoyed all the exciting acts. Also the staff at the Palace were noticiably helpful and friendly during the whole time we were there.

    Fully Charged was fired up!!!!

by Quis1 on 11/12/12The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

The show was great. My daughter loved it. Only problem were the prices on the popcorn, cotton candy, and toys. It seems a little over priced.

Truly The Greatest Show on Earth

by Deniseka on 11/12/12The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

We were watching our two-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter for a long weekend and were able to get second row seats directly in front of the center ring. Oh, my goodness, did she (and we) have fun. The action is non-stop so there's always something entertaining to see no matter how old you are. Unbeknownst to us we were in the "fully charged" seating area, so we were led out into the performance area during a couple of acts so we could be "up close and personal." We met and spoke with two of the performers who were delightful. Our granddaughter was dancing around in our area and they were completely encouraging. And the animals! The "horsies," tigers and elephants kept all of us transfixed. The live band was musical, the clowns were clever, the human torch was fiery, the tiger-and-elephant trainer was fearless, and the strong man was a regular Charles Atlas. All three of us truly enjoyed ourselves. Kids, take your grandparents to this circus!

Wasn't very entertaining. I didn't like the animal stuff at all..I didn't like the way it seemed the animals were treated.there were protesters outside and after seeing the animals I think there is merit to their story. It was my first circus and I was not impressed it was mostly clowns messing around

    Great Show

by Kookabeara on 11/12/12The Palace of Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills

Have not been to the Circus in years so it was great to take our son to this event. My son is 4 and is still talking about it - its truly a good life experience. He loved the Clown cars that drove around and the Bike that had doughnut tires and all the animals and stunts.. They were enjoyable performances. The Music was great and the musicians did a great job as well as all the neat sound FX going on.....loved it!!! I was a bit surprised how many people would rather video the show over clapping to performances. It was sad that the audience was more interested in recording the show - rather then clapping when the clowns and performers worked so hard and the audience wouldn't engage with clapping when the clowns put out cues for the audience to partake in. To be honest, we could have video taped it as well but thought it would be more fun to just be a part of the moment instead of video taping the show. Every other person was video recording the show!! I'm not kidding..it was really disheartening. I understand to video part of show..but it seemed most people had their cameras going for the entire show..you can not enjoy the show fully if your recording it. No one is really gonna watch a recorded version of the circus..it is just not the same thing. The one thing i did wish they had was a Magician. I love Magicians..and it would have been great to see one during the show..But The entire show was a great experience.
