I have never been to one of these shows before and both my 7 year old daughter and I had a blast. She is still talking about it today, and I could not get her to stop making comments during the show.

    Barnum and Bailey Circus

by LJIE on 1/6/13Tampa Bay Times Forum - Tampa

We're not sure when the circus became a dance show, but the music was extremely loud and it seemed like there were moments of just too much dance activity on the floor. The dance teams did many similar numbers as the next acts were set up - we could certainly have done without them. On the positive side, the tigers, elephants and gymnastics teams, including the tumbling act and the high wire act were awesome. The circus should stick to doing what it does best - those things...not dance! Bring the clowns back! Also, beware...the concessions at the Tampa Bay Forum (and I imagine other places) were OUTRAGEOUS. $12 for a lemonade?!? Wow.

It's called Greatist Show on Earth for a reason

by Tampaboy on 1/6/13Tampa Bay Times Forum - Tampa

If you haven't been to a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Show for a very long time then you'll be amazed at seeing a much more theatrical production. It's not the three ring tent show of the past. With all the great animal and human performers that you would expect chorographed into a fast moving themed presentation. Starting with the time honored tradition of the ring master opening the show by singing our national anthum as a show girl atop an elephant parades around the arena with a large American flag. To the grand finally when all the performers come out to take their final bow at the end of the show. Definitely worth going to see for both young and old. Don't miss it when this circus comes to your town. P.S. Bring some binoculars so you can get a close up view of all the action.

Many years since we have gone to a circus. Throughly enjoyed not only the show and preformances but we enjoyed the excitement of the children and their reaction to the various acts. Very well done.

I had not seen this circus in many years and I enjoyed it so much as an adult now. Would love to see another.

Enjoyable with my son/daughter-in-law and daughter/son-in-law and our four grandchildren. "A first" for my 6 year old granddaughter. Wish we had gotten a program for her to look at and relive the experience looking at the pictures as I waited too long to get seats and we were very high up to see everything. Being in the middle, section 302, was good for all the acts although we lost view of the trapeze artists in the lighting. My grandsons ages 9, 10, and 14 were skeptic at first but came around and were amazed they were happy they came. Parking was easy and the traffic pattern out of downtown good from the lot. Question: Can programs be found somewhere?

    Greatest Show on Earth

by Reray182 on 1/6/13Tampa Bay Times Forum - Tampa

Bought the tickets for the grand-kids, We had not been to the circus in a few years and were pleasantly surprised by the updates. Lots of music and action, All the things the current generation requires to keep their attention. We had a wonderful time and the grand-kids enjoyed the circus very much.

    Greatest Show on Earth

by Nernawern on 1/6/13Tampa Bay Times Forum - Tampa

Took the family and was very surprised. The circus has changed slightly since I was a kid but it was all new to me. Its been so long since I have been that it was like my first time like my daughter. She didnt want to leave and she cant wait to come back next year. Not sure if she even blinked during the entire show. Its was awesome!!!

We go every year and it is always amazing . The gymnasts are so great! I enjoyed the standard size poodle act this year( I always love the dogs) I also liked the clowns dancing to Gangnam stlye. My only negative is the price of food and drinks. A snow cone was $10 and a warm bottle of soda was $5. The lighted merchandise is brought around to the stands and the kids want to buy it and the parents can't afford it. For instance we spent $125 on just tickets and parking then we spent $50 on food and drinks for 3 people.

    Circus has gussied up!

by martzthearts on 1/6/13Tampa Bay Times Forum - Tampa

WOW! We enjoyed this more than the Cirque du Soleil, which was in ST Pete recently. Ringling is Las Vegas extravaganza-meets-travelling-circus. Missing a trapeze act, but everything else was great!

    The greatest show on earth

by Mom2791 on 1/6/13Tampa Bay Times Forum - Tampa

We has a good time. Cotton candy was WAY over priced $12 & they throw in a paper painters hat for good measure. We enjoyed the elephants, tigers, horses, dogs & the little skit they did with the rabbits was funny! The dancers looked like they were really enjoying themselves, except on the high wire. The girl there was happiest to get down!

    Ringling Barnum and Bailey Circus

by rilsejr1 on 1/5/13Tampa Bay Times Forum - Tampa

We have been to many of the past shows at the Forum but feel that perhaps this was the best of them all. There was never a moment that we felt bored. We took my 30 year old granddaughter to her first circus and she was just plain in awe durning the whole thing. We will be at the next one next year.

    What a show!

by Rjtravel18 on 1/5/13Tampa Bay Times Forum - Tampa

This was my first time to the circus and I truly was amazed. All of the acts were incredible but my two favorites were the tigers and elephants.
