1000% recommend. It is money well spent. VIP seats also worth every penny. To be able to sit within the circus during the first 1/2 is priceless. Performers are NYC/Vegas quality yet I dont have to go there to see it. I cannot say enough on how enjoyable it was for my self, my wife, and our 14 year old daughter.
Definitely good times for the kids. We go every year, and the Funundrum show was better than most. I recommend getting there early for the on floor pre-show.
It was 90% acrobatics and very few animal encounters or tricks. Food was ridiculous in price and vendors harassed us.
Great Circus!!! More like a broadway show with extremely talented group of performers!!! Great acts and this circus brought me back to my childhood!! Holding my breath and ooohing and ahhhhhing!! Great time! The cost of tickets was excellent too!!! Parking was a breeze at the forum in St. Petersburg as well!!
THE SHOW WAS GREAT, NOTHING SLOW ABOUT THIS EDITION, COSTUMES BEAUTIFUL, KEPT MOVING ALL THE 2 AND HALF HOURS, WELL WORTH THE PRICE. TOOK TWO GRAND KIDS, ONLY TWO YRS OLD. THEY COULDNT KEEP EYES OFF OF THE ACTS. THE MOTORCYCLE ACT WAS UNBELEIVABLE. THE BABY ELEPHANT WAS THE TOPPER. TRAPEEZE ACT FANTASTIC ! I CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT IT. A MUST SEE FOR ANY AGE OR ANY CIRCUS FAN. IT BRINGS BACK CHILDHOOD MEMORIES 1
There were many parts of the show that dragged out longer than I would have hoped. The show could have moved a little faster and would have been finished before 10:30. My kids became tired and restless. Another downside was the screens always seemed to be blocking part of the viewing area so you were only able to see parts of what was going on. Animal showings were beautiful! Some other fun parts included the clowns, the acrobats, and fireworks.
Our family was so excited about going to the circus. We have gone every year for the past 10 years. However this was the worst show yet and it left a bad taste in our mouths. Granted, it was opening night and the performers had to work out the kinks. Our seats were in the front row and in the first half of the show, they kept lowering flashing banners that completely blocked our view. Then they brought a portion of the crowd out to sit on the stage , with the clowns and other performers standing behind them. This may have been great for those lucky few who paid extra to go up on stage but once again it completely blocked our view. Additionally, several performers looked like they hadn't rehearsed and had to take their ques from the others around them. I don't mean to sound like I am bashing the whole performance but after a while my son said to me, "Bet that one's going to fall too". Think that line sums up the show.
Everything about the show was spectacular! PT Barnum would be proud. Not only are all the traditional acts the very best, they are integrated together and enhanced by spectacular costumes,coreography and hi-tech enhancements.At the end of the show I was worn out from the sheer excitement of watching. At intermission a friend remarked what in the world could they do to keep up the show they already have done everything. Guess what the second half was even better! The GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH has lived up to it's name
The show lacked the wonder and spectacle of previous shows. The pace in the first segment was very slow, so much that my 4-year old daughter told me she was bored and actually went to sleep! The tiger tamer was absolutely awful. The motorcycles were great, the only saving grace before intermission. The second half picked up with the horses and elephants, and the pirate scene was a neat touch, but not enough to save it. We left right after that. It seemed that the acrobats were not performing the daring stunts I remember, and the ones they did they did not accomplish well. All in all, a very disappointing experience.
We went on my 14 year old daughters request and both my daughters and I had the most amazing time... The colors, the activity, all the things I remembered as a kid only 10X greater------take the whole family and their friends. You will be amazed.
Now I never post reviews.....so this is a first. But this show was just AMAZING! We thought the kids would love it, but the adults were blown away too. Of course the animals were great and cute - but most amazing were the motorcyclists....7 of them racing in a sphere! Everything you'd expect to see in a traditional circus, but with great originality too. Go see it this year or next - I'm already making a note in my diary for next year to book tickets.
This was a very exciting and breathtaking show. I enjoyed it so much, just wish the souveniers weren't so pricey..
