About

Riley Green on Tour

Country singer Riley Green is just about as Southern as Southern gets, and the Alabama boy lets it all come through every time he hits the stage. From that deep-down twang in his voice to the lyrics of songs like "Bury Me in Dixie" and "Georgia Time" that celebrate his background, you get a full picture of Green's origins whenever you come to see him sing. He's a storyteller at heart, and when he settles himself in front of a microphone and starts strumming his guitar, he knows how to get his stories across to an audience. He does it with a minimum of fuss and a whole lot of pure, unadulterated emotion. Throw in a truckload of Southern charm, and you've got a classic, winning combination.

Riley Green in Concert

For most of us, the first place we ever saw Riley Green wasn't on a concert stage, it was on a reality TV show. He turned up as a contestant on CMT's Redneck Island during the program's fourth season in 2014-2015. Although he didn't make it far on the show, Green obviously had bigger fish to fry. The Jacksonville, Alabama–born singer/songwriter released his Outlaws Like Us EP in 2017, and it didn't take long for him to start making a splash on the album charts. By the following year, he had his first bona fide hit single, "There Was This Girl," and from there on the sky was the limit for the young country artist. In December 2018, he solidified his status as somebody to take notice of in Nashville, making his debut appearance at no less august an institution than the Grand Ole Opry. After a string of strong singles, Green's 2019 debut album, Different 'Round Here, arrived to make it abundantly clear that he had a consistent vision and every intention of sticking around for a good, long while.

  • Riley Green is the best

by MPant on 12/15/19Theatre of Living Arts - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

We’ve seen Riley Green open for Brad Paisley and now as a headliner and he never disappoints. He is true country, every song is great, and his band is awesome. Seeing Riley Green at the TLA was perfect because its a smaller venue. We could’ve listened to him all night long...

  • Had the bestttttt time

Party as hard as I could. But everything was perfect and the sound and everything but the drinks were a little pricey

  • Riley Green Rocked

by siemsfishy on 12/9/19Buckhead Theatre presented by Cricket Wireless - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

He put on one heck of a show! As did Travis Denning. Only complaint was the sound was terrible. The instruments drowned out the vocals and you could barely hear the words. Great venue though and parking is very close by and convenient.

  • Venue was awesome

by Christy on 12/9/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was great, very entertaining. But, big props to the venue staff who were super supportive of me. As soon as staff saw that I had an injury, they were very accommodating to make sure I had a fun and safe experience.

  • Overcrowded Venue

by seepaigerun on 12/9/19Buckhead Theatre presented by Cricket Wireless - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

First off, I absolutely LOVE Riley Green. I had purchased VIP tickets for the meet-n-greet. The meet-n-greet was amazing and was run efficiently. I was looking forward to an intimate concert in a small venue. The problem with it all, was that the venue was WAY too crowded. My husband and I stood all the way back, right beside the doors that led into the lobby. Because we were under the mezzanine, the sound was totally disrupted, and all we could hear was the bass. You could not make out the words to the songs, and you couldn't see Riley Green. Besides that, a few fights broke out, and I was legitimately scared that I was going to be run over or hit. It was scary, with a mob-like feel. I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet Riley Green, but I would NEVER go to another concert at Buckhead Theater.

  • Just ok

by HN on 12/8/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

We bought the vip tickets, unfortunately we were pretty disappointed. They lined us up for the photo and then announced no autographs. Isn't that kinda of the point of the meet and greets! First i feel like we should have been able to buy things and then given the opportunity for autographs during our photo. Then he came out and performed 3 songs and left. No Q &A , no interaction with fans. Then the concert it self Ran an hour and half late. Then when he came out he stood in one spot the whole night, the energy was low on stage. I am not sure if something was up, but we have been to other shows that were ran alot better!! And they didn't have restrictions either.

  • Fun place

by C. G. on 12/8/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue, Riley was really good. He is real country singer. Sound was a little loud, sound guy was a little off, drowned out vocals with band.

  • Great night at a great venue.

by D. H. on 12/8/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Riley was incredible. Travis was an excellent opener who brought the energy needed for an opening act to succeed. Overall the show went off without a hitch. The tabernacle was at capacity and Riley is well on his way to selling out stadiums.

Took my daughter for her birthday and she had the best time!!

  • Incredible Venue

by UGA fan on 12/8/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

First, my favorite venue in all of Atlanta so it was a no brainer to see Travis and Riley here. Next the sound mix was outstanding and even spoke with Riley’s sound guy Griffin, afterwards about the place and even he said it was an awesome venue for sound and clarity. Travis Denning really brought the house down with his extended melody set and his pure energy could not be matched! Thanks for an amazing night! Will be back again!

  • GREAT SHOW!!!

    by A. C. on 1/14/19The Walker Theatre - ChattanoogaRating: 5 out of 5

The venue allowed for a more personal feel for the concert which we loved. Riley embraced the venue, playing all acoustic and giving history behind his song writings. His voice is even more amazing in person!!! It felt like we were all just sitting around on a back porch listening to him play. We LOVED it! He has a very down to earth, authentically country, true to his roots personality that shines through his music. We will definitely be seeing him in concert again!

  • An AMAZING show

  • Should know when to quit

    by cody658 on 10/28/18Saenger Theatre Mobile - MobileRating: 2 out of 5

I like the music, and it could have been a good concert, but apparently they don't have enough songs to support a concert and have to drag out what they have. The scratchy and obnoxious guitar solo went on for WAY TOO LONG. (The opinion of all 6 in our group, and a number of people walked out before it was over. We would have too but kept thinking it had to be ending. Then, several other times they would repeat a few basic bars of music over & over. I don't know how long the repeating of the ending of the last (I think) song went on... we left after several minutes of repetition, and after leaving and walking around the back of the theater we could hear the same few bars still being repeated over and over.

  • Riley Green was great!

The venue was really cool. Easy to get around. Opening act was ok. Riley Green put on a great show! Sang ALL of his songs!! I will go to see him again!

  • The sound

by ConcrenedMom on 8/15/18Von Braun Center Concert Hall - HuntsvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Riley Green is great, love his music. But, I want to be able to hear what he says. The music was so loud that when he sang you couldn't really here his words, they were muffled. When he spoke on the microphone everyone was saying what did he say? Some around us would tell us and sometimes we just never got it. I don't know if they are to close to the microphone or if it was being indoors, you just couldn't hear him or the words to the song.

  • Awesome Concert

Great concert, fantastic interaction with audience. Awesome band.

  • Riley Green live is a must!

    by MusicLover4311 on 8/13/18Union Station Trainshed - MontgomeryRating: 4 out of 5

Riley played so many great songs, I only wish he could have played more! The band was really great and really intense, but they did not overshadow Riley! At one point he sang a couple of acoustic songs on his own, which may actually have been my favorite part. Please go out and support him as he is on his way to stardom!

  • Riley Green put on a amazing show.

by Therewasthisgirl on 8/13/18Union Station Trainshed - MontgomeryRating: 5 out of 5

It was a awesome show, even though the guy stole the hat that Riley threw into the crowed that hit me in the head.
