Rihanna is nothing if not prolific. Since her 2005 debut, the 25-year-old singer has released seven albums and racked up twelve No. 1 singles, setting a record in the process as the solo artist with the fastest accumulation of ten chart-topping singles – a feat she accomplished in just under five years. A quick scroll through the radio dial will confirm that Rihanna is the most ubiquitous figure in Top 40 airplay, and considering her rapid-fire release schedule, it’s hardly a surprise that she recently edged out her idol Whitney Houston to become the artist with the ninth most Top 10 singles ever (24 in total). After hugely successful collaborations with Eminem in 2010 (“Love the Way You Lie”) and Drake in 2012 (Take Care), Rihanna scored her first U.S. No. 1 album with 2012’s Unapologetic, which includes the hugely successful “Diamonds” and “Stay.” Rihanna is shining bright in concert on the 2013 Diamonds World Tour -- opening acts 2 Chainz and A$AP Rocky are worth the ticket price alone.
Born in Barbados in 1988, Rihanna grew up listening to reggae and began singing at age seven. As a teen, her Caribbean-influenced demos attracted the attention of label execs, and in 2005 she auditioned for Jay-Z, signing a six-album record deal with Def Jam Recordings the same day. Her first two albums, Mother of the Sun (2005) and A Girl Like Me (2006), spawned hit singles “Pon De Replay” and chart-topper “S.O.S.,” but it wasn’t until “Umbrella,” from third album Good Girl Gone Bad (2007), that she cemented her place as a serious contender to the pop throne. Originally written for Britney Spears, “Umbrella” peaked at No. 1 and earned Rihanna her first Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. A string of platinum-selling albums would follow, including Loud (2010) and Talk That Talk (2011), both of which featured an increasingly dance-oriented sound, including chart-topping club anthems “Only Girl (In the World)” and “We Found Love.” After terminating her tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship with rapper Chris Brown, Rihanna released Unapologetic in 2013 to positive reviews – and a No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200.

Best show ever. Period! She was phenomenal and she performed for 2 hours.
Awesome vocal, satisfying visual, the warm up act is not really my type of performer but he did a good job of warming up, Rihanna was awesome and better than expected. Also, the sound system of Rogers Arena is acceptable as well!
I was ecstatic to finally see my idol in concert. My only disappointment was that she didn't show for the pre show VIP party. That was the only reason why I brought VIP tickets to see her.
Fantastic sound & vocals; minimal and stylistic stage; talented dancers; Rihanna herself was outstanding. She was enthusiastic, looked amazing, sounded great, and seemed to be enjoying herself. Amazing night. Was so excited for this concert. Great seats in sec 119, row 20. Stood up dancing and singing along for the entire concert. My apologies to those around me that had to listen to my terrible vocals - ha!
This was my first official concert and I'm 36yrs old. I was not let down. The opening act Travis Scott was phenomenol and then Rihanna, the queen herself was simply a pleasure to watch. I cried, I sang and I danced. Pure joy. Pure love. Would watch it a million times. ❤️
She sang mostly slow songs. I was hoping she would sing some of her old up beat songs but didn't. She was only on stage a little over an hour with no encore. Very boring show.
She was extremely late. Her performance was not great and she left after an hour with no encore. Did not seem too trilled to be there. Better at small venues.
It was my first Rihanna concert ever, and it was awesome!! From her outfits, to the choreography, dancers, contortionists to the set designs, Rihanna was amazing. I would go over and over again (even better if the seats were cheaper and much closer to the stage. Lol) At the end of the concert, it felt like the whole show was short even though she performed for about 2 hours, I realized the number of hits Rihanna has (and the number of songs I like), 2 hours could not cover it.
Rihanna was EVERYTHING! one of the best concerts I've ever been too. The show started on time and she even did two extra songs. Wonderful performer and she sounds BETTER live for the people who try to say she can't sing. Yes, she can. I love Rihanna.
This was my first time seeing Rihanna perform live and I enjoyed every minute!! Her connection with the audience is amazing. The show felt like you were just vibing with her in the studio. Definitely seeing her again and getting much better seats.
Rihanna was beyond amazing , would go so many more times !!! I love her and everything about the concert. Except that in or section there was 4 people lighting joints and smoking weed. And the security gaurds were to scared to do anything about it . Like seriously it's your job. Besides that the concert was unforgettable
This concert was alright, the opener was better then Rihanna unfortunately. The starting of Rihanna performance looked promising but then shortly after the show went south. The Catwalk performance was pretty cool to watch but then once it was time to get to business Rihanna didn't walk the walk. There was a lot of "lets hear the audience sing" when we would have loved to hear more of her beautiful voice. Lots of partials of the most popular songs and the music over ran her voice. She forgot the words to her song 3 times and to us at time seemed not with it(but of course it was 4/20). I would not go to another concert of Rihanna's, which is too bad cause I love her music! On the positive side, the opener Travis Scott rocked the stage and the audience! He was awesome!
Rihanna was GREAT ! I wasn't sure what to expect from her because I have never seen her in concert before and I was hearing so many mixed reviews from people who have seen her. But I love her music & I wanted to experience Rihanna in concert for myself and she did not disappoint. Her performances were great & she sang so well ! I was really happy and would see her again because I feel she can only get better. It was a lot shorter than I had expected, I thought she would've performed longer than she did, but despite that it was a great show.
Rihanna put on a great show, she sounded good & looked good. Seats were crap, couldn't even see the big screen. No encore, that was a bummer.
She has swag, I loved it, I would see her again. Travis Scott was awful though!
Rihanna know's how to start the party and keep it going. I thought the dancers performing in between costume changes were great. I loved the psychadelic theme of the lights on stage during the second half. She started the show walking out right next to where I was sitting. I completely lost it. The not so great thing was the set list, it had no clear direction. It was sort of all over the place. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed every minute of the concert.
GREAT SHOW, PERFORMED MOST SONGS OFF THE ALBUM. I ONLY WISHED SHE PLAYED THREE OF MY OLD FAVORITES, BUT THATS A PERSON ISSUE. SHE WILL GIVE YOU A GREAT PERFORMANCE AND A SHOW TO REMEMBER.
The music was excellent. Her was voice was outstanding. I will see Rih again.
Hands down THE BEST PERFORMER!!!! I LOVE Rihanna! This is my first concert and definitely one I will never forget. I will make sure I'm there anytime she performs in Chicago. Awesome!
Extensively long wait times for her to come out to perform and then wardrobe changes. She barely sang any songs in their entirety and wasn't very interactive with the crowd... Spent a lot of money... Left feeling disappointed.
