    Great Show / Great Venue

by BarryS on 2/26/19The Cabot - Beverly

Rickie was terrific. Her vocals were strong. Her two accompaning musicians, a guitarist and percussionist, were very good. She truly seemed to be enjoying the audience and the audience definitely showed enjoyed her. She performed for over 1.5 hours which included most of her well known songs along with a few from her soon to be released new album. The Cabot is a terrific venue with comfortable cusioned seats, lots of leg room, and a recently upgraded sound system that sounded great.

    Still got it...

    by s. k. on 2/24/19Sony Hall - New York

Seeing RLJ live was really a joy. The inflections she uses live are even better than on the records. Her band was great. Did alot without a bass player. Room sounded great. This was a valentine's gift....Say no more.

    Phenomenal

by bfknyc on 2/24/19Sony Hall - New York

Rickie Lee still has it: the voice, the melodies, the poetry and the arrangements (this time a trio). Nearby were old fans like me and younger ones who had never heard her before. She took us all away.

Voice Still Shining after all these years

by PRodman on 2/24/19Sony Hall - New York

Even though we adore Rickie Lee Jones in my house, I didn't expect the concert to be so good. Her voice is still clear and soulful. Some songs even better in person than the recording. Sony Hall is a beautiful venue with not a bad seat in the house. Glad that it has been restored.

Anders Osborne puts on a great show. My wife and I love to see him in an intimate setting like the Ponte Vedra concert hall. Highly recommend seeing him.

    Ricky Lee Jones was wonderful!

by Anonymous on 10/2/18Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Ricky Lee Jones was just herself which is very talented and free flowing. Her voice and rhythm is still very unique and powerful in a gentle way. Her band was also fantastic!

Rickie Lee Jones -- still amazing

by Joann1104 on 10/2/18Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Saw Rickie Lee Jones over the weekend. First time since 1982. Her voice and her talent remain at the top of her game. Really enjoyed watching/listening to her. Her small band, consisting of a talented drummer and a guitarist, complemented her nicely.

    Summary

by Lovepussi on 10/2/18Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Anders Osborne who opened for Jones was fantastic!! Really better than Jones who seemed somewhat whimsical and tired. First time I have heard her live and I would probably not do it again.

Wish I Had Saved My Money

by JJScott76 on 10/1/18SWFL Event Center - Bonita Springs

Came onstage late, sounded like she had relapsed on heroin, played an hour, ran directly off stage without a word even with a standing ovation, no encore and complained and threatened the venue to end the concert the entire time. Looked frumpy in a crappy t-shirt and jeans. Unimpressed for the amount of money spent... almost $200 tickets and $150 in dinner and cocktails. The opener, Anders Osborne, on the other hand, was fantastic. I love the vevue and feel like a true artist plays for the people and no matter the issues.

    Worst concert I've ever attended

by katybug105 on 8/22/18PV Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Her concert last year in PV was so bad she finally left the stage in less than an hour. Her affect was so flat that she was either terribly depressed or highly medicated or both. Absolutely no audience engagement and she didn't even look at the audience while she mumbled into the microphone so low that she could not be understood while talking. Others on stage were continually following her, when she would leave the stage or standing near her while she so called "performed". She should be making public apologies for last year performance, maybe doing free concert it was that bad. do not waste your money and time

    Meh

by shunpiker on 4/11/18Aura - Portland

Rickie Lee Jones is an extraordinary songwriter. She has zero stage presence. I'm glad I saw her once, but I wouldn't go see her again. Stay home and write great songs, Ms. Jones. Aura, however, is a wonderful venue, and I will return again for future concerts.

    Disappointed

by timpeadgbe on 4/2/18Aura - Portland

Shortest show I have ever seen, she bailed after playing for just over an hour after complaining about the AC and being cold. I understand you are from New Orleans but this is New England in March. Very unfortunate as she still has it all from a voice and player perspective.

    Rickie puts on a show

by BostonComedyLover on 3/29/18Blue Ocean Music Hall - Salisbury

Rickie doesn't just do the same show over and over - she really makes an effort to give the audience what she is feeling - and occasionally, what they ask for. You can really tell that she enjoys what she's doing, and that makes it so much more enjoyable for the audience as well. The venue was beautiful and allowed a very intimate show where she could easily communicate with her band as well as the audience. The staff was also very accommodating. My one complaint would be one I've seen before - Rickie doesn't do a very long set, and in all my times seeing her she hasn't come back out for an encore. When she's done, she's done. But despite that, or maybe because of it, I always make sure to get tickets when she comes back around again.

    Great Concert

by Shrewsbury1 on 3/28/18Blue Ocean Music Hall - Salisbury

The Blue Ocean venue is terrific. You are close, sound is high quality. Ricki Lee Jones gave a great concert and had strong back up especially the percussionist who brought very sophisticated percussion to the performance

    She's still got it!

by Grist on 3/28/18Blue Ocean Music Hall - Salisbury

Thoroughly enjoyable set with nice selection of older and newer tunes, especially a bunch of songs from Pirates, my favorite RLJ album. Her voice was just as expressive as ever and she can still hit the notes! My first time seeing her live. Have loved her music since discovering her with Chuck E's In Love way back. Recommended.
