RICK SPRINGFIELD IN CONCERT:
Rock superstar Rick Springfield has been wooing audiences with his polished voice and leading-man looks ever since his rise to fame in the early '70s. More than four decades later, he looks and sounds as good as ever, treating fans to an unforgettable evening of solo performance and storytelling on his Stripped Down tour. Taking time between each song to relay the touching and humorous stories that inspired them, Springfield has proven that his talents as an entertainer extend well beyond his musical abilities. Whether fans catch him solo or performing with a full band, they can count on plenty of showmanship and charisma as he works his way through nostalgic hits like "Jesse's Girl" and "Don't Talk to Strangers."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Australian-born Rick Springfield began playing the guitar at age 13, cutting his teeth in several bands in England after his army officer father relocated the family there in 1958. After a stint fronting the British band Zoot in the late '60s, Springfield launched his solo career in 1971 with debut single "Speak to the Sky," a Top 10 hit in his native Australia. After releasing several moderately successful albums in the '70s, Springfield hit his stride in 1981 with Working Class Dog, a massive success propelled by the No. 1 hit "Jesse's Girl." 1982's My Success Hasn't Spoiled Yet fared similarly, landing at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and spawning several more hit singles. A veteran showman with four decades of touring under his belt, Springfield returns to the road once again for a string of highly anticipated tour dates.

We had such a great time! Very comfortable. It felt like they were having fun too. I was able to switch seats because I didn't need the handicapped seats after all. Only concern I had was that when the usher saw my seats, they didn't offer the elevator. I didn't need it, but if my husband had come he would have. They should know what seats are for the disabled. Overall, great show.

Rick Springfield and Richard Marx were Awesome!! My wife had a great time too listening to the hits from the eighties. They are funny and good storytellers as well.

Love the acoustic show and the stories behind the songs. Venue was great too, comfortable sits and stadium sits allow one to see the stage clearly
This intimate acoustic show was nothing short of fabulous! The storytelling & banter between them was wonderful. Richard sounds better than ever. The video he shared of his 3 sons (the Marx Bros as he called them) was just so special as he played along to it live. Rick’s song, My Father’s Chair was so emotional and hit home after recently losing my own Dad. It was a beautiful walk down memory lane and I highly recommend this show to everyone!!!!!
Rick and Richard did a fantastic acoustic show covering hits from both of them. The show was fun, funny, intimate, moving, exciting and everything in between. These 2 musicians are such talented singer, songwriters and excellent guitar players. These hits done acoustically only enhanced the power of these 2 and the great music. Over 2 hours of pure entertainment.

Easy in , seats were ok, audience was into the show and so entertaining they were! It’s my 2 nd time seeing them together and about 4 th seeing Richard Marx! I love them love the banter and interaction w audience

We have seen the Springfield/Marx show twice, and this most recent version with both musicians on stage together for most of the show was really enjoyable. These guys have so much talent, and are from an era before auto-tune and AI generated lyrics. Hope they continue to tour together!
Rick and Richard were amazing together. I had the best time I felt like I was 18 again.
