Good fans, competitive! Clean restrooms, good food
The best part was beating the Longhorns!!!!!!!!!!!
Great day and an underrated ballpark. You can bring coolers (beer/food) to the centerfield area and its great for everyone, families included.
The park was very clean and extremely friendly staff! Was the best collegiate ballpark in my hometown.
Seats were great, atmosphere was great; will return for more games.
A Rice baseball game is the single best experience-for-the-money in Houston sports! Reckling Stadium is the best college ballpark in the country. Not a bad seat in the house, great pre-game experience. This all comes from an avid Longhorn fan. Great venue, event, staff and fans...can't beat it.
If you haven't been out to Reckling Park, it is a must. Centered next to the medical center, it has amazing views and the some of the best baseball in the country. Loads of talent on this year's team. Hoot hoot
Love Watching Baseball in the early, cool Spring at Rice !
This was a very enjoyable series even though my Rice Owls lost. I highly recommend anyone to see the Owls play at Reckling park.
Had fun, The best was Fight in team to come back. GO RICE
Despite the cold weather and occasional sprinkles, baseball is always fun to watch. The one negative was the sound - you couldn't hear anything - not the national anthem, or anyone from the press box - that was frustrating. Reckling Park needs better sound to ALL patrons, not just those behind home plate.
Though the weather was less than ideal (occasional drizzle and 50s temperatures), the game between the Owls and Horns was enjoyable. It was longer than normal due to 25 hits, a bunch of walks, and seven mid-inning pitching changes by both teams. One neagative is that Lot D got full, and people had to enter paid lots.
Even an LSU fan wouldn't pass on seeing two great programs such as Rice & UT square off! I'll be going to more games @ Reckling Park. Great atmosphere and stadium. 1st class.
