Ricardo Montaner on Tour
A Latin music legend known for peerless romantic balladry, Argentine-Venezuelan hit maker Ricardo Montaner is a comforting presence in a rapidly changing world. Since first topping Latin charts in 1986, he has recorded with a symphony orchestra, released albums of Italian pop music, paid tribute to Mexican regional music and, with the help of his children, spiced up his signature style with up-to-the-minute electronics. The crooner's crooner has released more than two dozen albums and sold more than 65 million albums worldwide.
Standing on stage, his signature boyish tenor a soaring emotional delivery system, Montaner seems to hold his audience's hearts in his hands. His concerts are song treks through his musical career, a mixture of recent hits and classics, and, as he told the Arizona Republic, "a musical rendezvous" and "an encounter with my followers."
Ricardo Montaner in Concert
Born HĂ©ctor Eduardo Reglero Montaner in Argentina in 1957, Montaner moved to Venezuela with his family six years later. Since the start of his career in the late '70s, he has focused on heartfelt romantic balladry while making regular forays into other styles to become one of Latin pop's most consistently successful artists. Two albums from the late '80s, both titled Ricardo Montaner (volumes one and two), introduced his first telenovela themes along with international hits such as "Tan Enamorados," "A Donde Va el Amor?" and "SĂłlo con un Beso."
As one of his more than two dozen album titles puts it, Ricardo Montaner is a musical viajero frecuente (a frequent flyer). A trip to England resulted in his first million-selling album, Con la London Metropolitan Orchestra, a collection of hits in a symphonic setting. He has also applied his relaxing and wistful style to Dominican bachata ("Resumiendo") and Mexican bolero ("BĂ©same"). His 2016 album Ida y Vuelta paid tribute to Mexican regional styles and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart. Montaner, a Christian convert, recorded the duet "La Gloria de Dios" with his daughter, the actress and singer Evaluna Montaner, and their video has been seen nearly a half-billion times. In 2019, the singer released Montaner, an electronico-romantico collaboration with his musical sons, who perform as Mau y Ricky. In addition to his musical accomplishments, Montaner is a philanthropist committed to children's causes and fighting xenophobia.

Amazing powerful and just the best experience I have hadđ„° Ricardo Montaner gave an out of this world performance!!
THE BACKDROPS WERE SO COLORFUL AND VIVID. THE ORCHESTRA WAS JUST WOW! GREAT WE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE. I HAVE FOLLOWED RICARDO SINCE ABOUT 1995 AND EVEN SENT EMAILS TO COUPLE VENUES TO GET THEM TO GET HIM IN HERE CLOSE. THAT WAS YEARS AGO. I ONLY UNDERSTAND A FEW WORDS AND WILL CONTINUE TO LEARN BUT THE MUSIC WAS WHAT GOT ME HOOKED. THE LYRICS I NOW HAVE TRANSLATED AND WILL CONTINUE TO LEARN THEM WHEN I GET A CHANCE. WE WERE ABOUT ONE PERCENT OF THE GRINGOS THERE - BUT IT DID NOT MATTER - ROW E IN THE MIDDLE AISLE - COULD NOT GET ANY BETTER. THE ONLY THING WE DID NOT LIKE WAS THE LACK OF ABILITY TO TRANSFER TICKETS AND THE SMALL BAG SIZE AND THE PEOPLE STANDING UP IN FRONT OF US FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME EVEN AFTER WE TAPPED THEIR SHOULDER. AND THEY WERE ON THE THIRD ROW WITH NO OBSTRUCTION BUT SHE OBSTRUCTED US FOR A LONG TIME. MAYBE WE WILL GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE HIM AGAIN ONE DAY - WE ARE 69 AND WE KNOW HE IS FEELING HIS AGE - BUT BEING SELFISH WE WANT TO BE ENTERTAINED AND WE PRAY FOR HIS SAFETY AS HE TRAVELS ALL OVER THE WORLD. GOD' S RICHEST BLESSINGS TO HIM AND WE KNOW RICARDO WAS GIVEN HIS TALENT FROM THE ALMIGHTY. AMEN
We enjoyed every minute of it! The band was awesome. Repertoire was great! Really loved everything about it.
Without a doubt, Ricardo Montaner still has it. The man puts on a terrific show. He sings classics, entertains with great stories, and balances slow songs with fast ones so that his show is an extremely entertaining ride from start to finish. One of the best shows Iâve seen in a while!
This is my third Ricardo Montaner concert and he never ceases to amaze me! Timeless classics are sung with a true heart-felt emotion that leaves audience members wanting more! Will gladly see him again in the future!
Excellent concert; flawless voice; outstanding artist. Montaner was very personal and on point throughout the night. After seeing him perform 19 times, I am looking forward to seeing him once again in the near future. Blessings and best wishes to âel maestro,â Mr. Montaner.
The show started an hour late and Mr. Ricardo talked too much.
Great concert. He still have a beautiful voice and is charming as ever. He sang a lot of the earlier hits, which was nice, but I was hoping to hear some songs of his latest cds.
The musicians were amazing and the back drop video was well done. All Ricardoâs fans were there singing and enjoying his showmanship.
