About
Guatemalan singer/songwriter and multiple award winner Ricardo Arjona has released 13 studio albums, including 2007’s Adentro, which earned a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album and a Latin Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Album. The talented singer, guitarist, and pianist possesses an impressive musical range that encompasses pop, rock, ballads, and even the a cappella style of Cuban, Tejano, and Norteno music. His lyrics have made him somewhat of a social activist too, with songs addressing topics such as racism, immigration, and homosexuality. Ticket buyers for Arjona's concerts around the world rave about his passionate performances as well as the special guests who occasionally join him on stage, including singers Sandro and Marc Anthony and pianist Sergio George. Arjona has honed his musical talent since the mid-‘80s, when he released his first album Dejame Decir Que Te Amo at the age of 21. Before that his roots may surprise you: he played basketball for the Guatemalan national team on a Central America tour and also worked as a rural schoolteacher.

His show topped his last one, I absolutely love the venue but HATE their strict bag policy. Why is that even necessary? my bag was 10x5, I had no pockets and a heavy cycle. I was turned around and not allowed to bring my bag in. I saw other's with smaller bags and they were also turned around. There was a lady with a GALLON water bottle and she was let in, but small bags are not allowed? Everyone was so rude about the situation. It made my experience at this venue awful. I traveled all the way from the Woodlands to see this artist, and the experience left me wanting to avoid this place in the near future. I was at the Toyota center for the Mana concert, then at the NRG for the Ed Sheeran concert, and had no such issues. The NRG which is a larger venue had the same bag policy and they didn't blink twice when I brought my 10x5 bag. I wish the Ricardo Arjona concert had been at the Toyota Center like his last concert :( Again, incredible concert, great venue, terrible experience getting in :(

Extremely Disappointed

I had to buy tickets on a very poor location, where I couldn’t appreciate the show. I will be request full refund of my tickets and garage permit which also had problems getting into the parking garage.
