Guatemalan singer/songwriter and multiple award winner Ricardo Arjona has released 13 studio albums, including 2007’s Adentro, which earned a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album and a Latin Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Album. The talented singer, guitarist, and pianist possesses an impressive musical range that encompasses pop, rock, ballads, and even the a cappella style of Cuban, Tejano, and Norteno music. His lyrics have made him somewhat of a social activist too, with songs addressing topics such as racism, immigration, and homosexuality. Ticket buyers for Arjona's concerts around the world rave about his passionate performances as well as the special guests who occasionally join him on stage, including singers Sandro and Marc Anthony and pianist Sergio George. Arjona has honed his musical talent since the mid-‘80s, when he released his first album Dejame Decir Que Te Amo at the age of 21. Before that his roots may surprise you: he played basketball for the Guatemalan national team on a Central America tour and also worked as a rural schoolteacher.

Ricardo was great. This is the first Latino concert I attend and the worst in terms of no respect by the fans. This was not a standing room concert…it wasn’t even in an arena. This concert was at a THEATER and people stood THE ENTIRE TIME completely disregarding those behind them. It’s like these fans knew NOTHING about etiquette in a theater setting. Why pay for seats? Why not look for a concert that is at an arena or standing room if you don’t understand a theater ambiance. It was a ghetto mess. GHETTO.
Best Latin Artist I have seen live for the past 20 years! Hands down. Will never miss his show if he is in the area. Que Viva El Mundo Arjona!
The concert was awesome Ricardo arjona was awesome. I did not like that we had to wait outside for hours before going in. It was not a good experience. They was no need to have been outside in the heat to enter a concert. The concerts at don haskins are fast and easy.
This concert was filled with a great vibe and Ricardo song most of his best songs!
As an Arjona fan, Ricardo Arjona did NOT disappoint! It was a great show from beginning to end. The only thing that I had a problem with was that the doors to the venue were supposed to open at 8:00 pm, but they opened around 9:00pm. The parking was a mess and the lines were long and at a stand still... in 100 degrees weather. That was draining and very unpleasant.
Great concert. Logistics was awful. People fainted and waited around an hour to enter the coliseum. Hot weather and very disappointed of the organization of this event.
Absolutely loved it!!!!! Puts on an Amazing performance!!!! Will definitely see him again!!!!!!
We arrived at 7:20pm since tickets were at 8:00 pm and wanted to allow time to get seated on time. Doors opened after 8:40pm and strongly dissatisfied that they would not allow people inside the coliseum prior to this. People were crowded in long lines in severe heat. How can they allow people to stand in the heat for more than two hours while the city had a severe heat warning? After feeling heat exhaustion I went to wait in my vehicle losing my spot in long lines. The show started at 9:00pm missed half of the show. I wonder who is responsible for this? Who pays for the part of the show we missed for this lack of organization?
Was awesome, just magnificent everything was amazing
Definitely was the best concert, highly recommended...
Concert was good, but poor organization. The doors did not open on time. Many of us got into concert after it had started. Poor organization on facility and I couldn’t believe artist did not wait for fans.
The venue did not open its doors until an hour after the concert start time. We were forced to wait outside in over 100 degree weather the whole time without an explanation. By the time we managed to go through security, the concert had already started. My husband and I were very disappointed and never want to go back to this venue. However, once inside we had a great time. The artist was great and gave and awesome performance as usual.
Advertisement and tickets were for 8pm. I waited for the coliseum to let us in at 9. Waiting outside in the heat. Don’t know whose error, but the concert started at 9:30.
one of the best shows in my decay. the music and the videos ossssssom
Gave a great performance and sang all his greatest hits.
Ricardo Arjona concert was A+mazing! He’s a brilliant down-to-earth composer, poet, singer. He has a beautiful and diverse group of musicians on his team. The stage was incredible with a top to bottom , wide across screen were images referring to his songs would appear simultaneously. Payne Arena was the best venue for this event. Easy to access, no parking fees, no need for assistance because people drove in and out in an orderly manner. Safety was enforced by having metal detector doors and people checking carefully the audience’s purses and pockets before entering the building. Sale of souvenirs, food , and beverages were great as well. This concert was a total success. I give it a 10 out of 10! I could go again and again to RA’s performance.
Just an amazing concert. I love Ricardo Arjona since I was a little girl ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Arjona Amazing night great show!!!! Great place the Amway Center
I did not know what to expect, since it was my first concert ever to attend, but overall I loved everything how organized was from the moment we drove in to the parking lot. Everything was organized, the check in staff and elevator staff were very polite, courteous and polite The food court did not have many choices, but staff were courteous, friendly and very polite. The stadium was very clean. The person supposed to give us direction to our seat did not greet us and did not walk to our seats, being our first time in a stadium concert we felt a little lost for a moment but, we managed to find our seat. The seat rows were a little confusing, some other couple sat in the wrong seats because that I think. The main event was awesome. Seeing one of our favorite singers was goal reaching!!! The ending back to the parking lot was somewhat stressing, everybody trying to get out at same time to their cars, walking down stairs, many directions to take, staff members did not sign were to go. We just followed everybody else and tried to read directions posted in building to find our way out. That was the down-low. But, overall we would definitely go back to more concerts from now on!!!
