Rhythm In The Night, The Irish Dance Spectacular

    by tjbws on 3/20/16F. M. Kirby Center - Wilkes-Barre

It was our first time seeing Irish dancing live. Wow, what a show! We loved the story line and the dancers were amazing. The violinists and flutist were excellent. We were blown away by everyone's energy! My only wish is that pictures of the troupe members were in the program. Lauren Hood is from our neck of the woods and we would like to have known which one she was.

I took my 10 year old daughter and her friend, they loved the show. The cast was in the lobby after the show greeting the guest which I thought was great. Excellent show!

Not at all what I expected. The marketing was taking Riverdance to a new level. I was disappointed.

Had a wonderful time, thought Riverdance was good but Rhythm in the Night excelled, hope they return in the future, will be first in line for tickets.

    POOR

by bigErn99 on 3/22/14Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

They needed much more practice. Even when they tried to go in a circle they bunched up and couldn't get it together. Worst program I ever seen. They told us NO flash pics then proceeded to light off massive flashes that blinded the audience. The rest of the show you were staring into strong flood lights. There was no Irish music just a lot of noise. I have seen river dance and other productions that were great, but this one needs a lot of work.

Rhythm of the Night was unforgetable.

Great show. Loved it. The dancer put on a terrific show even though it was not very well attended. They danced as though it was a full house. I would recommend this show to everyone.

Delightful mix of dance and play. The show was not just Irish tap/step dancing. They also had instrumentals in the form of flute and violins. I was entertained the entire night.

The show was awesome! Both of our daughters (8 & 4) Irish dance so they thought it was incredible! My youngest daughter's feet were moving the whole time! The cast was fantastic! Brado did break all pre-conceived notions of what an Irish dancer looks like! He feet moved soooo fast. The 3 "last chorus line" dances they did had the crowd on their feet! The women are beautiful, the men handsome and the story of good vs. evil was a great story line. My youngest asked the next day if we could go back and see Rhythm again! I would DEFINIATELY recommend this show!!!!!

The dancers were amazingly talented and had tons of energy, and the storyline was interesting, tying each number together.

    Good but not great

by Biggs142 on 3/21/14Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

I enjoyed the show a lot . The only part of the show I did not care for was the pre recorded steps in the sound track . They should have microphones the floor or something but other than that it was a good show .

the big devil guy was not a good theme for the irish dancers. The dancers were awesome. The girls on the violins were terrefic. Overall show was good just didn't like the undertone with the good and evil--totally did not expect that.

Fabulous, the dancers were excellent!! Choreography stupendous. Beautiful balance of all the favorite Irish dances. The dance ensemble performed with compassion and high energy, considering the disappointing attendance level.
