About

28-year-old Canadian DJ/producer Isabelle Rezazadeh AKA Rezz has racked up tens of millions of streams, sold out legendary venues and headlined top festivals around the world. She oozes originality and produces genre-bending electronic works, striking a sharp balance between bass-heavy and minimal tech compositions. Her first independent project - the adventurous Beyond The Senses EP - was released in 2019 and garnered praise from Alternative Press, SPIN and Billboard who called it "her most impactful project to date" and went on to receive The JUNO Award for Electronic Album of the Year in 2020. She graced the cover of Billboard's 2019 Dance Issue and has been attributed as being at the forefront of the dance and rock music crossover. 2020 marked a banner year for the producer who released her first single through RCA Records "Someone Else" with Grabbitz which has garnered over 36 million streams worldwide and reached #15 on Alt Radio in the US and #1 in Canada. Alternative Press praised the song upon its release, including it as the lead track in their weekly playlist. They called the video "another high point in Rezz's canon," saying, "...the song evokes a sinister groove that will appeal to dance music devotees as well as industrial rivetheads..." Rezz is heavily featured in a documentary called "Underplayed," available on Amazon Prime, which highlights the current issues female DJs face in the dance industry. In September 2022, she launched her label imprint HypnoVizion Records, which has gone on to release dozens of records, has gained tens of millions of streams worldwide, and quickly gone on to become a marquee label in the electronic music scene.

Rezz was awesome, everything else was meh..

by Shy on 5/16/22WAMU Theater - Seattle

Rezz was awesome, per usual, but everything else was a bit…. Underwhelming. The djs before her sounded choppy with no flow to it. One of the biggest let downs was the water situation.. no caps on the water bottles that you waited in line to buy (dancing with no cap is a recipe for disaster) no hydration stations.. people are dancing and sweating and have even less access to water. They had plenty of bartenders on but it took foreverrrrrr to get a drink, which I understand with so many people there. I’ve been to other shows at WaMu and other Rezz shows that were great but I left this one feeling disappointed. I’d like to state again that Rezz was amazing and never disappoints, it was just everything else.

I love rezz but short appearance

by Lr on 5/16/22WAMU Theater - Seattle

Rezz is great. One of a kind performer with some bangers. My only complaint is that she only performed for about an hour and a half. The whole thing ended by 11:30, leaving us feeling pretty incomplete.

    Openers were terrible

    by J on 5/16/22WAMU Theater - Seattle

Wish we would have known not to show up till 3hrs after it started. After everyone stood around waiting we lost our vibe and left early. I saw Rezz at EDC MX City and it was epic

    Over priced drinks

    by J. G. on 4/8/22Bayou Music Center - Houston

Over priced drinks , no straws , no napkins . Restrooms have like 2 stalls for hundreds of people . The production is surprisingly really good tho .

    Rezz ROCKS

by Ron Peynado on 4/6/22Bayou Music Center - Houston

Amazing visuals on the digital screen combine with the laser light show and hypnotic sub-bass heavy grooves over dark melodies. What an experience !!!

    Disappointed

by ravekitty on 4/5/22South Side Ballroom - Dallas

We caught the last moments of Of The Trees which we were sad to learn was an opener for Eprom because he completely dropped the ball and killed the entire vibe completely for the entirety of his set. Its amazing to me with alll the talent out there that this dude is on with Live Nation. I would never pay $85 and travel anywhere again to catch this lineup. Rezz's production was cool but it was an overall flop for me. But, ya live and ya learn and ya get to know just exactly where the bar is set with these corporations amd the ones signed to them... all in all..its def a lesson to do more research about the performers before spending all that money and time traveling to do it!

Too big for the the room

by Lou on 4/5/22South Side Ballroom - Dallas

First off, every artist was amazing! Loved 100 drums, I had never seen her. OTT was great. Eprom was my least favorite but still good. Ok - REZZ was everything I wanted and more BUT y’all… she deserves a bigger venue. She has out grown the Southside Ballroom…. The cult of REZZ is growing and y’all need to make adjustments. Get that woman at the Toyota Music factory! That’s all. Thanks :)

    Fun

by C on 4/5/22South Side Ballroom - Dallas

The venue was way too crowded, not enough bathrooms for attendees. If you had an open tan at the bar you had to go back to the same bartender every time which proved to be difficult due to the crowded venue.

    Rezz shows are REALLY AWESOME

by Brian on 3/22/22The Met Philadelphia - Philadelphia

The Spiral tour is really awesome and amazing and you have got to go! I’ve seen Rezz live 3 times and all 3 shows it seemed like someone made sure ALL the artists sounded awesome and all the music builds up in intensity perfectly. Canabliss, Kasablanca, and Wreckno were so awesome, I loved all 4 hours of music. Get there by the time doors open so you don’t miss really special and talented artists like Canabliss or A Hundred Drums. Rezz mixed songs with mastery like no other. A lot of awesome new music and a list of fan favorites a mile long. I’ve been going to concerts for over 30 years and I can tell Rezz works INCREDIBLY hard to make sure every single aspect of everything from carefully choosing all the opening acts at their shows quality merch, to the highest quality records, to the best sounding shows, to state of the art stage production with the most artistic vision, and takes such amazing care with their branding to give Rezz fans an experience that always surpasses every high expectation we have!

    Immersive audio visual experience!

by Raymundo on 3/16/22The Met Philadelphia - Philadelphia

Our group got seats rather than stand but we stood half the show anyway. The speakers were great, heavy bass without being over saturating or blowing out my ears. The venue was awesome, definitely would go back there again, everything was easy to access with great views from anywhere in the theater, not cramped. Rezz put on a great show with new music and old favorites with seamless transitions. I loved the lights and lasers, darn I just love lasers so much and this was some fresh equipment. Definitely one of the best shows I seen since shows stopped.

    Rezz is always amazeballs

by Derek on 3/15/22Echostage - Washington

Rezz is always top-tier amazing. A sold out Echostage venue is always oppressively packed. I understand they're trying to make cash after surviving COVID but it's just too many people. A dance club where there's no room to dance even standing in the back is just a lot less fun than it could be.

    Surprisingly Meh

by 3rd Time Rezz Viewer on 3/15/22Echostage - Washington

This was my third time seeing Rezz live. I was shooketh as to how little I actually enjoyed the show/set. The best part about the show had nothing to do with the music, had to be how Rezz had us all two stepping looking like a hoard of zombies, mindlessly moving. But the set lacked overall, listening to a two beat base for an extended/looped period of time. If this had been my first Rezz show it would have been my last, which is sad because Rezz is amazing. I just found this show to be rather bland, repetitive & only a handful of times I was overcome by the urge to headbang, this should be a given at every moment! LOVE YOU REZZ EITHER WAY!

    Had a Blast

by Ariectus on 3/15/22Echostage - Washington

First time seeing Rezz or going to the echostage and it was absolutely amazing, I have some disabilities that I was worried might cause me issues but as soon as we got to the front of the line I mentioned it and they had staff take my fiancé and I over to the ADA seating pronto without any fuss at all. Everything was better than I expected, the staff was fantastic and Rezz was so insanely good, she even whipped out one of my favorite mixes I had no idea she ever played and I got so hyped up. Fantastic acoustics, lights; all the screens and lights, the energy of the crowd and the safety of the crowd and surrounding area were all amazing, nothing took long unlike other venues I’ve been to, even merch only took maybe two minutes altogether. A++ and will absolutely go to the echostage again and definitely see Rezz again!
