Rewind Fest 2014 Oak Mountain Amphitheatre

by WOBBLESANDFLOPPY on 6/17/14Oak Mountain Amphitheatre - Birmingham

It was the ultimate tribute festival with bands of the 70's, 80's, and 90's. We heard the music of AIC, Prince, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kiss, Tom Petty, Ozzy, Bon Jovi, etc.

    Slippery When Wet was fantastic!

by aumegs on 6/17/14Oak Mountain Amphitheatre - Birmingham

I love that Rewind Fest gets all of our favorite tribute bands together -- and that I know all the words to all the songs! Slippery When Wet was a fantastic Bon Jovi tribute (and I've seen a few). I've been to this event several times and can't wait for next year!

Out Of The Cellar was AWESOME

by Rancat on 6/17/14Oak Mountain Amphitheatre - Birmingham

Out of the Cellar was awesome. Great Tribute to RATT guys. The guys had to open the show and they did it with style and the great sound of true ROCK"N"ROLL".

    KISS of death

by MedievalBabe on 6/16/14Von Braun Center Concert Hall - Huntsville

Almost KISS was horrible. They can't sing and just because they look similar to the real band, doesn't mean they should be booked into a venue like the VBC. Guns & Roses tribute band was good, and Bon Jovi tribute band was decent. Not an Ozzy fan so could have lived without their performance, though it was pretty good. The concert lasted too long and I didn't even recognize some of the songs that were performed. If you're going to be a tribute band, just perform the most popular songs of that band, not some obscure song selection the majority of people have never heard.

All of the bands were fantastic. Much better than I expected being tribute bands. I give them all kudos!! It was a total blast from the past for me! I would return again if the Rewind Fest comes back to town.

We had a great time. Music was awesome and the atmosphere was fabulous. Prices for concessions are a bit high. Only one ATM onsite so take cash with you.

Rewind Fest Orange Beach - The Warf

by finmanfish on 8/6/13Amphitheater at The Wharf - Orange Beach

It was just so so.....The Pearl Jamb group was the best! Kiss was toooooo loud! I stayed to see AcDc knock off last and they were just campy ...... too much talking to the audience looking for after parties.

    Great Time!

by DadoFaayan on 6/10/13Oak Mountain Amphitheatre - Birmingham

We had an absolute BLAST at the Rewind Fest! The acts were a lot of fun, and sounded just like the album-versions of the artists they were "tribute-ing". Several of us commented how, even though we haven't seen the "real" versions of a few of these acts, it was almost better than seeing them now. The tribute bands are great about catching the essence of when these groups were top-billing headliners of their times.

We really enjoyed the first three bands on the main stage. I really understand now why the band is called Van Halen. The guitarist for the Atomic Punks was incredible! I wanted to hear the bands on the other stage, but I could not stand the smoke from the other people at that area.
