Renee Fleming Tickets

Prologue: Because of the necessary security issues about trust and true identity, our ticketing procedure was incredibly tedious, almost foundering. Not fun, not fulfilling. The concert: Fleming was classy, beautiful, and forthright in displaying her high art. Excellent explication of her program. The Tucson Symphony and conductor Luis Gomez fulfill entirely one’s expectations of passionate playing and exquisite interpretation of the masters.

Renee Fleming is an American treasure! Her concert with The Tucson Symphony Orchestra was everything I expected: an amazingly varied selection of music, songs sung with and without a microphone, and 'that' wondrous voice. A thoroughly enchanting evening with one of the best.

Renee Fleming was as amazing as we expected her to be....what a talent! Truly an American treasure! And Tucson should be so proud of their Symphony Orchestra....an awesome group of Musicians 🎶

Worth every penny! Her voice is amazing! Experience of a lifetime! Symphony wonderful too. Had lower balcony seats. Wish I had remembered my little binoculars.

Much as we prefer live, un-amplified music, the acoustics did Ms Fleming no favors during the first segment when she did not use a mic. The sound at Tucson Music Hall is too lush. The symphony overwhelmed her, and not because they played to loudly. The hall simply doesn't allow a voice to project, much to the detriment of the soloist.

Exquisite voice from a consummate professional. Not showy...doesn't need to be with a voice like that!! What she told us helped paint the picture for what she was singing about. Very inspiring.

We thoroughly enjoyed Renee Fleming Wednesday night. Her musicianship was unsurpassed, but we especially enjoyed how personable and "down to earth" she was . . . made the night so special!

Renee Fleming stayed an extra day due to snow and the concert was great. For some reason they had not shoveled the sidewalks at the Opera House

I challege all who read this to find a better female vocal than Mrs Fleming. She is a true inspiration to all aspiring vocalists who have the good fortune to hear her sing live. She is a true artist and all aspects of her voice are true perfection. For this concert, she sang selections from Robert Schumann, Sergi Rachmanioff, and Richard Strauss. Harrison Opera House have a live feed of all lyrics translated to English. Mrs Flemming also did 3-4 more contempoary numbers and even led the audience in a sing-along. Her piano player, Olga Kern is a world -class example of perfection in both talent and elegance. Her only solo piece was Lilacs by Sergi Rachmanioff. If you ever get a chance to hear her perform live, you would be in for a treat-she is brilliant!

My family went to this event and enjoyed every minute! Ms. Fleming was amazing and we would love to have the opportunity to see her again. What a voice!!!!!

Ms. Fleming was in fine voice and the program was terrific. The variety of music was great and she gave four encores. I was thoroughly entertained!

Rene'e Fleming is not only the most gifted soprano around these days; she has the best personality and stage presence of anyone I have have ever seen or heard. What an incredible performance by a truly incredible artist.

Renee Fleming is one of my favorite contemporary opera divas. She has a beautiful voice, she's attractive, and has an engaging personality. I had looked forward to this concert for months. However, I was very disappointed in the program. It was a mixture of the esoteric and somewhat banal. On the banal side, I rate her selection of well-worn musical comedy chestnuts of Rodgers & Hammerstein, e.g. "The Sound of Music". How about something more demanding, as for example Stephen Sondheim. I was looking forward to hearing more operatic arias, instead of the lovely but well-worn Puccini "O Mio Babino Caro". Oh well, just my tastes. She gave us a lot of encores, but didn't seem to know when to finish. But we did get a lot of music for our bucks, just not what I was hoping to hear.

Renee Fleming not only sings superbly but she looks like a goddess transported to Earth with her lavish gowns enhancing the visual aspect. Words in German, French and English left listeners applauding for encores.

Ms. Fleming packed the hall and put on a wonderful performance. She was personable, chatting it up with the audience throughout her performance. She made 3 curtain calls making it a special night for those attending.
