I am 60 and have never enjoyed a show more than this one. The talent from this man is astounding, his band and singers are superb. This was the Meatloaf, Bat out of hell show and this man and his band did not miss a beat or note. The Best.

Once again Remember Jones brought it. The energy and performances from all on stage were great. The crowd was flat.

  • Great show

The band and the female singers were great. Remember Jones nailed all the songs. We had a great time as did the rest of the audience. Sang along with all of the songs. Paradise was my favorite song of the night. Loved how each of the female singers were highlighted on different songs. I'm 63 and loved that the show ended a little after 10 so did not have to be out too late.

The bat out of hell show was outstanding. Remember Jones was great as the lead and the band and back up singers were outstanding. Definitely worth the price of admission. We would definitely see it again.

  • Very good, but not quite great

by pipermacbean on 10/29/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red BankRating: 4 out of 5

First off, I think performing Meat Loaf's 'Bat Out of Hell' in its entirety (along with other songs from his catalog) is a great idea, and Remember Jones pulls it off with wonderful aplomb... dramatic, energetic and just enough irreverence, without being over the top flamboyant. My issue is with the band. While they were all seemingly capable musicians, there wasn't any dynamic range in their sound... it was as if they all said "let's all just play at the same level and leave it at that". As a result the music just seemed flat... I wasn't excited or drawn in by the music at all... it was just blah. Throughout the whole performance I kept waiting for some part of the music to grab me (I am well acquainted with the album, having been 17 when it came out and buying it on LP). When a guitar part or piano or other keyboards should have been pushed forward it just stayed the same... boring. Don't get me wrong, I love this album, and I think Remember Jones and his back-up singers did a great job (the guy can plain old SING!), but like the title of my review, it was good but not great, because the band was flat.

This is an amazing tribute to Amy Winehouse. These performers made this even more entertaining and completely captivating. They brought us in along on this celebration to this wonderful singer and songwriter that will forever be missed. I have to definitely shout out Remember Jones himself and Miss Essie bringing down the house with their powerful presence and voices. The entire group brought it and I am looking forward to hearing more from them and future projects.......New Fan here!

My wife and I saw Remember Jones for The Amy Winehouse Experience. Wow. Truly incredible. Remember Jones, himself, is an incredible musician and frontman. The entire band was so talented and the show was everything we needed for a lovely night of music and entrainment. More than I could have ever asked for. If you get the chance to see him, don’t hesitate!

This group is a must see and if you have already seen them go again! Each show brings something new to the stage with an untold of energy level. Horn section always satisfies (so talented!) with vocals that exceed expectations! And if the music and vocals aren’t enough, the stages are really cool too!!

My wife and I have seen Remember Jones 6 or 7 times now. Anthony never disappoints. We have seen him perform Queen, Meatloaf, the who’s Tommy and a few original music shows. A very charismatic performer! I look forward to seeing these great local musicians again.

This was beyond spectacular! As always Remember Jones did an amazing job - from song selection - (including choosing some lesser-known songs) - to all the choreography! Plus the violins and choir were exceptional. Everything was done with the "precision"one comes to expect from Remember Jones. Anything he does will never disappoint! Thanks for a great evening and wonderful tribute to Queen!
