About

In 2003, Latin pop outfit Reik took the Mexican underground club scene by storm with the release of their demos, which included the hits "Levemente" and "Ahora Sin Ti" and earned them overnight success with Mexican audiences. Combining chiseled good looks with impressive musicianship, the band quickly became a favorite with ticket buyers for their energetic, guitar-heavy live concerts. Their 2005 self-titled debut continued this success, spawning three No. 1 singles and resulting in their first U.S. tour. Reik's ability to traverse a broad range of styles, from upbeat dance songs to heartfelt romantic ballads, has impressed both critics and fans, earning them several Latin Grammy Awards including Best Group and Best New Mexican Artist. Their boundless energy and slick style make Reik concerts especially popular with the college set, drawing them comparisons to artists as diverse as Coldplay, Shakira, and Maroon 5. Following several critically-acclaimed international performances in 2013, fans look forward to more from the band in 2014.

    Great concert... Half packed but it's better for the audience! It feels more intimate, they didn't play that much either, they could have performed a few more songs but overall it was awesome!

    The show was supposed to start at 8:00PM, but the band didn't come on until 11:00PM.... SERIOUSLY. The band was good live, and they played all their hits, so as far as quality, it was good. But then, when the show ended and the audience called for an encore, the band didn't do it. Again, what?! I realize that it's not mandatory, but I figure after making us wait for so long to begin with, it was the least they could have done. Also, the ticket price was high.

    Jesus sounds exactly like the CD when he sings live. Overall the group knows how to put on a show :)

    The show was spectacular as always. I have been a Reik fan since there first two singles became underground sensations. This was my fifth concert and left me so impressed. The quality of their performances continues to improve every time I see them. There is no other male vocalist really singing as well as Jesus Navarro. The kid has incredible range and stage presence. I also preferred the venue to that of them singing at a club like the club rio presentations they've had in the past. Needless to say I will be at their next concert. Oh, and everyone get their new album Peligro! It's fantastic!

    I love their concert and how they involved us in their music video, i love REIK, i saw them in Guatemala and went backstage and took pics with them, they are really great guys, and i would see them perform, as many times as possible!!!

    This was by far the best concert I have ever been to!!! They were AWESOME!!! They gave such an amazing show and i would recommend their concert to everyone!

    their perfomance was unforgettable...they know how to get the fans feel like they're part of the actual concert. Jesus is an amazing singer!!!!!!!!!! TOTALLY GOING TO THE NEXT CONCERT THEY HAVE IN HOUSTON

    The concert itself was done really well. From the very beginning I was jumping up from my seat. They had great bands that opened up for Reik including Taxi Amarillo who sound really good and I downloaded a few of their songs the day after. I only knew a number of Reik's songs from their previous album and a couple from their latest album Un Día Mas. I must say I fell in love with almost every song they performed including Un Día Mas and No Hay Nadie Mas

    Great concert!! My friends and I got super close to the stage and we were able to touch Julio's leg LOL...The only thing that sucked was not being able to go backstage...Otherwise all in all an incredible night!

    The group has evolved into more mature music and lyrics as well as a solid, professional show, interacting with their fans and making it a great experience for young and old. The setting at the HOB makes for a great venue to watch Reik since it is small, cozy and great acoustics that lets you really listen to the guitar as Julio & Bibi rake the music out of them while Jesus sings his magic voice about. Overall, in all the Reik events I attended I have always walked out energized and happy to have attended, ready for the next one
