Some people paid over $50 to be on floor level but you all allowed any and everyone down there. Worst part was the judging for the competition. You all blatantly allowed one specific team extra time and boosted their crowd meter just so they can win. It was rigged and unfair to the rest of the teams who came out and played fair. It was disgusting to watch them get robbed of a fair shot. On a big platform like that, there was NO proper judging or monitoring of the rules. It was clear the competition was rigged and you all are making money off of cheating. We will not be supporting this RedBull culture clash. It was a mockery of the Caribbean community and a blatant display of favoritism.
Great venue, great entertainment, bring it back to Atl
This was a great experience. I enjoyed the music and had a lot of fun watching DJs compete for crowd approval. It would have been a LOT more helpful if there was a screen that showed footage of the DJ stage during their allotted time so people didn’t have to run from corner to corner to see the show. The bar also closed 45 minutes before the show ended without notice. People were still in line waiting. Other than that, the show was well organized and the signage looked great!
Unfortunately, homophobia is still alive and well even here in Atlanta. Supposedly, one’s culture gives them the right to openly harass and discriminate other’s just for who they love and how they look. Very very disappointed in this event
The venue was well suited to the amount of people there I would have liked a if there was a way to have one more level of space to accommodate for the back rows so everyone would have a clear view of everything but this could probably be solved by just showing up early. The music was great and the talent was above even that. The only issue I had with the event was the prelims the weekend before. The host studio was very poor at advertising this on any platform and it seemed like they wanted to intentionally deprive other dancers their chance to enter to promote their own talent. Also the judges for prelims were all judges that have little battle experience so I feel like there was a huge bias and misrepresentation of the Colorado battle seen as a whole. This is really unprofessional and I would recommend that another studio be in charge of this moving forward. Though I did not compete in either event myself, it seems quite shady on this end. As for the main event it was really engaging and fun for the crowd to be able to be the judges of each battle. I think the MC did a really great job acting as a tie breaker when necessary and I appreciated the consistency of length for each round. No one was showed favoritism based on time which is a huge bonus.
Smaller Venue so was able to be almost part of the show. Light up bracelets to interact with show. Being able to be the judge! Great show!
