Cali-Reggae chillers Rebelution have had audiences feelin' irie ever since their 2007 debut Courage to Grow became a West Coast favorite for its unique blend of beachy grooves and socially conscious lyrics. Since then, the band's star has continued to rise with two No. 1 records on the Top Reggae Albums chart and a host of high-profile festival appearances. A favorite with audiences for their extended jam sessions and impressive solos, Rebelution promises even more good vibes on their 2014 tour dates with Cris Cab and Common Kings.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Hailing from the sleepy beach city of Santa Barbara, California, Rebelution formed just a few short steps from the beach — a fact that's reflected in their laid back brand of Reggae fusion. After rising to local success with tireless touring up and down the California coast, the band made their album debut with 2007's Courage to Grow, which was selected as iTunes Editor's Choice for Best Reggae Album of 2007. 2009 follow-up Bright Side of Life would prove an even bigger success, landing at No. 1 on the Top Reggae Albums chart and leading to slots at festivals including Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. With a new album in the works and extensive tour dates in 2014, Rebelution is poised to achieve even greater heights.

If you like bands that you can dance to and lose yourself in the music then Rebelution is where you should be looking. They sound amazing (props to their sound engineer) live and have some great lyrics to go along with bouncy tunes. i highly encourage everyone to check out Rebelution.

Rebelution played an amazing show! My favorite band by far! I had the opportunity to see them at Rothbury, but got caught up doing other things so this was my first time seeing them. So awesome! Definitely recommended...though the opening bands weren't my favorite..

All three bands were remarkable. Rebelution clearly had more experience but all three rocked Hell like never before. I felt so lucky being in the front row for amazing endless reggae bliss.
Every song was my favorite song. With their changes of tempo in their classic songs, Rebelution sets the standard for all reggae bands.
Iration opened the show with a few new tracks! Can't wait till the new CD hits! Its gonna be BIG! Passafire put on a great show as well. Rebelution def brought their game to the stage! They must have played for an hour and half or so. Amazing talent from all 3 bands.
Iration was good as always to begin. Wasn't too sure about Passafire at the beginning but they were straight. And Rebelution put on a show as always!
I discovered rebelution 6 months before they played in rochester and hardly anyone knew who they were, the concert was awesome and they sound so much better live !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
