REBELUTION IN CONCERT:

Cali-Reggae chillers Rebelution have had audiences feelin' irie ever since their 2007 debut Courage to Grow became a West Coast favorite for its unique blend of beachy grooves and socially conscious lyrics. Since then, the band's star has continued to rise with two No. 1 records on the Top Reggae Albums chart and a host of high-profile festival appearances. A favorite with audiences for their extended jam sessions and impressive solos, Rebelution promises even more good vibes on their 2014 tour dates with Cris Cab and Common Kings.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Hailing from the sleepy beach city of Santa Barbara, California, Rebelution formed just a few short steps from the beach — a fact that's reflected in their laid back brand of Reggae fusion. After rising to local success with tireless touring up and down the California coast, the band made their album debut with 2007's Courage to Grow, which was selected as iTunes Editor's Choice for Best Reggae Album of 2007. 2009 follow-up Bright Side of Life would prove an even bigger success, landing at No. 1 on the Top Reggae Albums chart and leading to slots at festivals including Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. With a new album in the works and extensive tour dates in 2014, Rebelution is poised to achieve even greater heights.

    Great Show, Terrible Venue

    The bands were great, however the venue needs a LOT of work! None of the staff knows anything. We were asking for directions to gates or which ones were open and no one knew the answers. The seats no longer had numbers on most of them, they had all rubbed off so no one knew were their seats were. Thank goodness we were in the back row and could hop over the seats and not walk in front of anyone. Alcohol is EXPENSIVE, which is typical of any venue but to spend over $50 for 2 drinks is insane to me. The bands themselves were great! Shame they dont have better sound systems to really display their music. Leaving was an absolute joke! It should not take someone an hour to get home when it only takes you 15 min to get there. Everyone was honking at eachother, yelling. Really ruined the vibe of a chill show.

    Reggae Rhythm

    Ticketmaster makes it simple every time to purchase concert tickets. This summer is my first experience hearing/watching live reggae. It was so much fun and Rebelution was really awesome!!! Thanks Ticketmaster! :D

    Absolutely phenomenal show put on by all the bands!! Passafire was great as always, Expendables were awesome as usual, Iration put on one of the best shows I've seen from them (and that's saying something) and Rebelution absolutely brought the house down as usual!! They're my favorite band to see live for a reason!! Fantastic show, great experience overall

    The bands tended to sound the same after awhile. The audience seemed to really be into it. Not my cup of tea. All in all the sound was very good.

    I love Rebelution but I feel the light show wasnt as good as 2022. They used more bubbles this year. The effort this year wasnt the greatest either.

    This was the first concert I attended with my teenage son, it was great! We got good seats, the bands sounded amazing! Everyone did an amazing Job! The venue was clean too & well organized. (:
