    Fantastic

by Belladoli on 1/3/22The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

Besides the fact that the RSO was wonderful, The drums, piano, guitars were a surprising addition and really spiced up the songs: MiG’s voice and performance was absolutely amazing. His voice is so strong and has such an incredible range. He hits notes and you’d swear it was Freddie, at the same time putting his own spin on the songs. Unbelievable energy and showmanship. The conductor joined in on the fun and often provoked it. By the end of the night everyone was on their feet dancing and singing and arranging a group, audience included, selfie. HIGHLY recommended

    Hooray Renee

by Bron on 9/21/21The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

Arrived at 6:30 enjoyed the pre-info show. Renee was absolutely fantastic we had very close seats in the second row right in front of her it was one of the best concerts I have ever ever attended at the RSO. The orchestra under maestro Constantine was excellent. Just to be able to see someone of such amazing talent in Reading is a true gift and we thank you for giving that to us.it was a wonderful evening. Looking forward for more.

    Magic Mystery Tour

by Fancy1 on 1/3/20The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

The show was really got but it was very hard to see the band. I've been to this venue before and have never had an issue. I don't know if they extended the stage forward for the band to be in front of they symphony but I honestly could not see 2 of the band members which was disappointing. The symphony always does a great job but I was expecting more symphony than what they played. It was still a fun night.

    Flawless Performance!

by JLuke on 6/17/19The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

RSO playing the soundtrack brought life to the movie. They performed perfectly. It was a very unique experience and hope they do something like this again in the future. From the look of the mix in the crowd I would guess this has drawn people in that wouldn't normally attend the symphony. WELL DONE RSO!!!

    Wonderful show

by Salty Bellingham on 6/17/19The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

Four of us went to the Reading symphony show last Friday. They showed the movie the Raiders of the lost Ark, with Andrew Constantine directing a live orchestra. It was just wonderful and we loved it. We always really enjoy the Reading Symphony regardless, but this was really amusing and a special treat. If they have a similar show again I’ll do my best not to miss it.

    VERY ENJOYABLE

by L. P. on 6/17/19The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

Enjoyed this so much we were watching the movie and didn't realize that the orchestra was playing the music as it was so seamless that it became one with the movie.

    Married to an Opera nut!

by Mary on 5/7/19The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

People say opposites attract. But they can also help each other grow. Growing up in Reading, my music knowledge was limited to church songs and some show tunes and, of course, rock. So my music grew into contemporary Christian. As a young adult I moved to Philadelphia and met an opera nut. His music became a constant sound in our home, but I still didn’t want it in my heart. It was music from the big city. After 20+ years, we moved to my hometown, Reading. Thanks to this performance, I can now really enjoy this genre. My “big city” spouse had nothing but praise for RSO. And I got to hear a love letter my husband had written to me some 25 years ago. Ok, my letter was his ink on his paper, and in his handwriting, but not his composition. Reading needs more music, of all genres, so our children can learn to enjoy all the different ways to create these beautiful sounds.

A mesmerizing combination of music and circus arts.

by hispoem7 on 4/16/19The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

I expected this show to be good, but it exceeded my expectations. The orchestra was fantastic (as it always is) and the circus performers were top-notch and choreographed to the music. The concert flew by as I was completely immersed. I especially enjoyed the aerial silks performances--truly impressive. I would have gone to see the show again the following night if they had an encore performance.

    Short on Quality

by Don on 1/3/19The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

We Have attended the New Years Eve event for more than 15 years. In that time we have been entertained by quality performers and excellent orchestrations that enabled our great Symphony to show their capability. Unfortunately, the two vocalists did not present their offerings with good quality. The female vocalist did not have a good night. Her voice and stage craft was lacking considering the event. The music of Taylor and King, while great on its own, may not by easily adaptable to symphony presentation. There was a lack organization to the show which did not allow The Symphony to perform at their best.
