EPC did not have the volume right so it was a struggle to hear the lyrics above the music. When he was talking or playing the piano it was easy to hear and good. Ray is a good comedian. i paid for reserved parking which was a waste of money. There was nobody directing and parking and taking tickets.
Ray Stevens still puts on an entertaining show even at his age. He sang a lot of my favorites: The Streak, Gitarzan, The Mississippi Squirrel Revival and It's Me Again Margaret. Some songs he only sang part of: Shriner's Convention and Ahab The Arab.
I've always enjoyed his CD's. If fact, since the concert I have ordered 3 more CD's including the wonderful songs he sang last Friday night.
In true Ray Stevens style. Loved his songs and humor.
60 years in the business and still great. Worth every penny.
Had a blast! Haven't laughed that hard in a long time. I laughed so hard I cried. Music was fantastic, band was awesome, jokes were clean, but funny. Always wanted to see him live. Won't ever forget I!!
He is not only an Awesome Entertainer, but he is a Patriot who loves America. Enjoyed the night immensely...seating was good too...enough room between rows for entrance and exit, and the sound systems was second to none. We had a Wonderful Time. Thank you to the very Talented Band, and the entire event center. Close enough to travel up for the event and them home after.
Mr. Stevens is a consummate performer. You would never guess his age by his performance. His show is excellent! Funny, upbeat and full of energy. I have already recommended it highly to my friends. He sang the songs we all know and love. His voice is still very strong and he can still hit all the notes that he did when the songs were recorded.
I had a great time. I had not been to the FL Theater in years. It is a beautiful setting. Ray Stevens is a great performer, loved the show.
He did all of the funny songs (GuitarZan, etc.) that I remembered. He told lots of funny stories. Not a curse word was spoken. Good family entertainment.
This was an evening that I planned for my mother as she wanted to attend; however, I had as much fun as she did. It brought back a lot of fun memories. Ray Stevens was very entertaining. Lots of laughs, clapping, singing and just an overall fun experience for the audience. Would definitely recommend! :-)
It was okay, but it was only an hour and 20 minutes long. And at times the music drowned Ray out.
Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Would highly recommend seeing Ray Stevens.

A fantastic show at the Florida Theater. After all these years in music, Ray Stevens doesn't miss a beat. His songs and comedy are good for the soul.
