    Ray Price

by lmayfield on 3/19/12Majestic Theatre San Antonio - San Antonio

Ray Price and the Cherokee Cowboys were super super fantastic. When Ray started singing it sounded just like the records that I listened to growing up. Bobby Flores and the other fiddlers' were also super as well as the steel guitar player. I would definately go again and recomend this to anyone!!

    Ray Price

This man is awesome!! He might be over 80 years old but that voice of his has not changed a bit. He still sung like he was a youngster. I was in awe all night. All that was left needed was a dancing partner Excellent beyond words

Ray Price was phenomenal. He is a man of 86 years with the voice of a 40 year old. I'd go see him again today.

Bitter sweet. It's tough to see a great legend declining. However, his voice is still magical and strong as ever. Glad we went!

Ray Price is the BEST EVER Country Artist!!

by kolsoncss on 3/18/12Anywhere he will play - Reno

I have listened to Ray Price since 1956. He is the best of the best true country artists of all time. Love his songs, love his voice. He has been around for a long time, and I'm glad that he is still with us. I would go to see him if I could, but I live too far away. I would like for him to dedicate one of his songs to my sister Bonita, who has been gone now for 10 years. He was her best loved singer of all time and 2 other sisters have the same opinion.

Excellent concert. All three performers were great. I had forgotten how much I really enjoyed B. J. Thomas' music and Ray Price sounds as good as he ever did. Billy Joe Royal had an injured back but was still good. I'm sure he would have been even better had he not been in so much pain. You forget how great those older entertainers are with all of the new ones coming out and I was really glad I saw this show.

    Great show-

by iamcdp on 6/24/10IP Casino Resort and Spa - Biloxi

My husband attended this concert and LOVED it! He said that these guys were amazing- truly in it to entertain their fans. After the show, they all were available to meet their fans and autograph items. They didn't just sign a few items and hurry off either. Thanks for an amazing experience guys!!

    GREAT SHOW!

by MetryFan1 on 6/7/10IP Casino Resort and Spa - Biloxi

Ray Price doesn't move around too well anymore, but his voice is still wonderful. He's still got charisma and charm. I can't say the same for his guitarist son. I'm sorry. He seems to be a real nice guy though. John Conlee was terrific. Great voice. He's so reliable. You know what you're getting in advance. But his half-hour set was one half-hour too short. He only got to sing half of his hits. Johnny Lee was entertaining with his songs, and his jokes. Was that white tennis shoes he was wearing with his western attire? His feet must hurt. Try not to sit on the end seats of the IP theatre. There is talking you can hear on the sides during the show; from the bar and the ushers.

The show was great! Johnny Lee was the best of the three. He still has a great voice and I wish he would do a new cd, he is the best of the show and funny!!!!!!!!!!! As far as John Conlee he is still great! I felt so sorry for Ray Price he forgot his words and looks terrible, but he still has the voice. He needs to retire and sit back and enjoy his life. He will never be forgotten as the all time great!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would go see them again!

    Ray Price still has it!!

by Sweethonesty5000 on 6/7/10IP Casino Resort and Spa - Biloxi

The concert was absolutely amazing. John Conlee and Johnny Lee were fabulous, but the privilege to see Ray Price in person was something I'll treasure forever! At 84, his voice is just as beautiful as it ever was.

Johnny Lee and John Conerly were awesome and I cannot say enough about Ray Price. He was unforgetable. The music was beautiful and Ray Price just performed as he always had, despite his age. Everyone loved him. It was a non-stop performance and our seats were great. I'm looking forward to another one.

    Truly amazing

by peanut03 on 6/6/10IP Casino Resort and Spa - Biloxi

I went to the concert because my husband wanted to. I am so glad that we went. It was one of the best we ever went to. We think it was better than Branson. All three performers (and the bands) were phenomenal. The way Ray Price kept singing one song after another was worth the whole price of the ticket. I cannot wait for them to come back in the New Orleans area so we can see them again.

    a show for the aged

by dmacman on 4/23/10Stiefel Theatre - Salina

I was pleasantly surprised by the stamina of Ray Price. His songs and his band were truly music to my ears. With each song I was back In my youth signing his songs to the girls I was dancing with. Only I could never carry the tune like Ray. I, like many of those present, was mesmerized by the gentle sounds of the past. The applause was loudest when his biggest hits were sung. His voice was as strong as ever and in the end we were all sad that it had come to en end. As I left the theater I heard many of my fellow audience member comments but the one that I thought the most appropriate was when someone said, "Now that is what country music sounds like".

    Unbelievable Performance

by FaithfulFoxFan on 4/23/10Stiefel Theatre - Salina

I knew Ray Price was a true legend of country music but kept my concert expectations within reason due to the man's age. The venue being Salina's Stiefel or Fox Theatre intriqued me along with knowing that Ray would have a large band backing him up. Sure enough, Ray Price's band, the Cherokee Cowboys were top notch. You just don't see many country acts these days featuring four fiddle players & an upright bass. When announced, Ray walked slowly to take his place at the front of the stage. All my doubts about his ability to sing quickly faded when he began to sing. For an 84 year old man, Ray Price put on an unbelievable performance. He sang all of his big hits like "Crazy Arms, City Lights, & Heartaches by the Number." The audience was appreciative and his voice continued to amaze all in attendance with its range & strength. Now I understand why Ray Price belongs in that select group of legendary performers.
